They're giving you special "celebrity" treatment because of your high profile role on here!
Not as daft an idea as it might sound if we subscribe to the occasionally mooted notion that "they" are watching us (I'm sure Kevin Pullein was only able to get lumpy bets on because of who he was while those who followed him struggled to get a fiver on his selections) but perhaps just good fortune in this instance. I too had only heard negative stuff other than your experience.

Best of luck Tony,
I like the look of,
Kurt Kitayama 90/1 Bet365
Handled himself pretty respectably last week at The Masters.

Going to be a more regular on this thread.
Going to keep a profit/ loss for the rest of the year.
Lost £3 on the masters.
YTD -£3
This week Tom Hoge 110/1 ew, 6 places, 1/5 odds.
Also same player 70/1 ew, 1st round leader, 6 places, 1/5 odds. Both with Sky bet.
Good luck everyone.

harry_rag got a reaction from ThunderDan9 in Champions League Quarter Finals Predictions > 16th & 17th April
After backing 6 players to score from outside the area in the first legs of last night's ties (only for 3 of them to score but from too close to the goal) I decided to revisit those players last night and found 5 at prices that appealed with Vitinha landing for PSG at 25/1. Forgive the after timing on that one but my results have been so bad of late on the straight anytime bets that I think it was my first profitable day since the weekend before last!
Going to need a lot of bets to judge the merits of that particular angle given the typical odds but, so far this season, that makes for 2 winners from 21 bets (the other being Lejuene for Vallecano, posted on here, at 50/1). Had a proper look at tonight's games and gone with these players:
Haaland 28/1 and De Bruyne at 9/1
Valverde 22/1 and Rodrygo at 66/1
Kimmich 28/1, Goretzka 33/1 and Sane at 20/1
Odegaard at 15/1 and Rice at 22/1
One enough for a reasonable profit and a decent interest across both games.

Place return on D-C puts me somewhere in the neighbourhood of break even.

Missed that one. You've gone from 0 to "King of Speed" in no time at all!

Top rated on todays going is UNDER THE TWILIGHT in the 3.50 based on its 3rd at Newbury last May over todays distance. It is rated second overall to the favourite Tiriac. Available at 12/1 (4 places).

Could just be dumb luck! To be fair it’s more about trying to rank the players based on value in the price rather than pure chance of winning. It’s quite labour intensive so I doubt I’ll do it every week but I’ll at least try and do all the majors.

I’d say “better late than never” but, in this case, the outcome is the same! Deadline is 3:00 on Saturday.

Tella (Leverkusen) hat trick at 100/1 Lads
Took the 9/4 anytime with Sky Bet (11/5 best Uni now; still looks big). He was 80/1 for the trick but boost took it to 100/1. Small bet on 1st at 8/1.
Leverkusen scorers the gift that keeps on giving, so many who can score and are often overpriced.

Paredes (Roma) brace at 100/1 Uni
Looks big at double digit odds to score (possible pen taker). I don't think he should be in triple digits to manage 2, unlikely as it may be.

Too short a festival. I prefer to play my way in for the first 3 days then blitz the winners on the last day. Well done the winner and anyone who finished in the black (or on better than -£9 to be fair).
Cheers to Zil for running it with his customary skill, grace and wit. 😎

He might generally be priced closer to fair from now on which might make me consider the value has gone and he might not be priced up in 3 figures as often anyway. I was more thinking about the actual availability of odds of 100/1 plus but I was also conscious of how much shorter he was generally this week (“only” 100/1 and only in 1 place).

Why one last throw @harry_rag it could still be a worthwhile bet in future - whether it lands or not this time shouldn't necessarily make any difference to whether you back him again.
