Man utd v RB Leipzig
Angelino plays as a wing back for leipzig and has 2 in 5 in the league and 2 in 2 in the champions league.
Last week he scored both goals in the champions league and prior to that he scored the first goal in a league game.
I will try him as first goalscorer at 20/1 B365

Chelsea v Liverpool
There should be goals here. Virgil van dijk scored last week and went close to getting a second. Chelsea are often vulnerable aerially and van dijk will be a threat at set pieces.
Bet: buy van dijk goal minutes at 6 (sporting/spreadex)

skybet have a market called relegation treble which i will have a dart at:
aston villa/ west brom/ fulham look the most obvious candidates to me at 20/1
villa only just stayed up last year and i can't see dean smith reverting to a different way of playing plus their recruitment was shocking
fulham were so bad 2 years ago and the manager is inexperienced
west brom just don't look that good a team to me
other candidates like palace, brighton, sheff utd, burnley, newcastle should have enough
though if sean dyche left burnley they would struggle i think
-
Timo werner scored 28 goals last year in the bundesliga and looks likely to be chelsea's main striker. Chelsea also appear to be recruiting well with ziyech coming in and havertz rumoured.
William hill's 14/1 looks a little too high to me so i'll have some of that (top premier league goalscorer market)

Good luck, didn’t have time to post but got a few assist bets myself. Bought Lewandowski’s assist mins at 8 and backed Neymar 7/2, Mbappe 9/2 and Gnabry 4/1 for anytime assist.
well most people will have got that final wrong @harry_rag

I will be interested to see if Lucas Ocampos starts tonight as he is Sevilla's best attacker. He was taken off in the semi final and his reaction looked as if he knew he would miss the final. He also had a heavily strapped leg so he was obviously carrying an injury. Without him the advantage goes to Inter but they are favourites anyway.

de gea playing a negative for man utd imo

Polish ref Marciniak is in charge tonight. To simplify things he "likes a pen" and is nothing exceptional in terms of cards. I was a bit surprised at the low spread quotes for tonight's game (you can buy bookings at 48 when I was expecting low to mid 50s) and, despite low totals in his 4 games this season, I still think there's some upside when you consider his overall stats in UEFA competitions.
I've backed a penalty taken at 12/5 with Hills and bought penalty goal minutes at 14 with SPIN. I've also backed >40 booking points at 10/11 with PP.
some great calls there @harry_rag

some important team news for tonight: timo werner will not be playing

Oh well, barring the fact that Atalanta at least scored one goal to minimise the loss on the buy of their goal rush, that went as bad as it could have gone.
Psg were poor i thought @harry_rag and only saved by the introduction of mbappe. I think they will be heading out in the next round as the midfield is functional at best and they rely too heavily on neymar and mbappe.

2 winners enough for a modest profit despite the maximum loss on the spread bet.
Do you have an opinion on the winner of the tournament @harry_rag ?
I think that both inter and man utd are being priced up on reputation and that sevilla will beat man utd on sunday.

reguilon will be marking traore, good chance of a booking

wolves v sevilla
jules kounde could have scored 3 goals v roma as he hit the bar with a header, had a goal disallowed for a marginal offside and had another effort blocked on the line.
He is not usually prolific and wolves defence is unlikely to be as porous as roma's was. He probably offers value though in goalscorer markets: first and last =50/1 and anytime 20/1

Sevilla vs Roma
The second match kicking off at 5:55pm BST on Thursday night in the Europa League is a one-off tie between La Liga team Sevilla and Serie A club Roma at the MSV-Arena in Duisburg. These two sides didn't manage to play their first leg before lockdown kicked in so their two legged affair is now reduced to a one-off match on neutral territory. Who will prevail?
Sevilla are enjoying life under former Spain head coach Julen Lopetegui having qualified for next season's Champions League after finishing 4th in their domestic league. The club went unbeaten in 15 league games to end their campaign. This is a special competition for Sevilla too. Under former head coach Unai Emery, they won the competition three times in 2013/14, 2014/15, and 2015/16. There's no denying they are a team who should be considered as contenders this year having scored 15 goals in their 8 matches in the competition so far this season.
Roma will be disappointed to have failed to reach the Champions League next season after finishing 5th in the Italian top flight but it's hardly been a shock. The capital city side 7 wins and 1 draw from their last 8 league matches to reduce the gap with 4th placed Lazio to just 8 points so it's been a long time coming. Head coach Paulo Fonseca has seen his team hit form in July so they'll provide dangerous opposition for this impressive Sevilla side. They've now scored 23 goals in their last 8 matches and have scored at least twice in each of their last 8 matches. However, a word of warning. Roma have only won 1 of their last 7 matches against Spanish clubs in Europe and have failed to even score in 5 of those games.
This is one of the more intriguing matches of the tournament. If this game had been played back in March then I'd be backing Sevilla all day long. A lot has changed in those 6 months though and I now feel that this tie could go either way. That is particularly the case on neutral ground. I genuinely can't decide which way this game will go so I'm backing a draw with both teams to score.

sevilla looked very good last night-roma couldn't get near them

Brentford vs Swansea
The tension will be cranked up right to the very limit on Wednesday night when Brentford will be looking to overturn a 1-0 deficit from their first leg Championship play-off semi-final against Swansea in a 7:45pm BST kick-off at Griffin Park. This will be the last competitive game played at the venue with the club set to move into a new state-of-the-art stadium next season but will it be in the top or second tier of English football?
Brentford felt hard done by in their first leg when Rico Henry was given a red card for a tackle on Connor Roberts in the 65th minute. Just 16 minutes later, Andre Ayew gave Swansea the lead having earlier had a penalty saved by Bees keeper David Raya. Thomas Frank has seen Henry's suspension for the sending off overturned so he'll have his full back available for this game. The front three for Brentford of Ollie Watkins, Said Benrahma, and Bryan Mbeumo have scored 57 goals and 14 of those have been scored by Watkins at home this season. No other player in the Championship has scored more goals on their own patch.
Swansea will be delighted that after stealing the last play-off spot in extraordinary fashion from Nottingham Forest on the final day that they are now 90 minutes away from a place in the Championship Play-Off Final. Steve Cooper's side will feel they are worthy of the narrow lead heading into this second leg but they also know the challenge that awaits them. The Swans do pose their own threats though. Ayew has been involved in 25 goals this season and Rhian Brewster has scored 8 goals in his last 11 away games.
As a Cardiff fan, I'm fearing the potential outcome of Swansea earning promotion through the play-offs and us crashing out. The Swans have given themselves a fantastic chance to reach the final but the job is only half done. It was clear that the first leg left Brentford feeling screwed over and they'll be out to rectify that. I just feel the momentum is with Swansea now and I can see them holding out against a Bees side that appears to be losing the plot a bit... and no... I am not backing Swansea to progress in an attempt to jinx them!

good luck tomorrow @StevieDay1983 i've had a bet on cardiff at 33/1 for promotion (after the first leg defeat)

Yeah, they wouldn't be able to enforce a points deduction now the league season has officially finished. I'm keen to see what will happen with Wigan. Feel sorry for their fans. Support football in a town that is obsessed with rugby and then have their club pillaged by corrupt individuals as part of a bet. Shocking. That said, I'd hate to see Barnsley go down after what they did.
I feel sorry for wigan too @StevieDay1983 and if the rumours are true about the owner having a big bet on them being relegated (rick parry discussed with fan) then the EFL are complicit in waving through the dodgy change of ownership and doing nothing to avert the 12 point deduction.
-
The hull bet went well (see above)
The useless efl have still not decided upon whether to punish sheffield wednesday (they keep passing the buck to an independent commission). A 9 point deduction (the same as birmingham last year) would be enough to relegate them.At this stage i suspect any punishment will be applied next year.

@waynecoyne So McBurnie's goal yesterday sees him cover the spread so any more goals sees us in profit on the buy at 6. But... had I gone with the buy of his goal minutes I mentioned as a possible alternative, I'd already be 45 points in front!
i've been a bit disappointed @harry_rag, i thought he'd score more. I also bought mcginn at 3.5 and he scored 3 early on then got injured. Greenwood was one i was looking at also, with hindsight that would have been profitable. I think he was about 6 to buy.

sheffield wednesday v manchester city
wednesdays only chance in this would be if they put out a combative team and city played a weakened team.
I don't think this will happen as wednesdays two most aggresive midfielders hutchinson and luongo are out of favour and injured respectively .
Guardiola rested a few on sunday and also with them being out of the premiership title race, i think they will put a strong team out
and expect city to win easily.
i have bought the city supremacy at 2.25 goals, phil fodens goal minutes at 12 (sporting index) and also backed city to win
6-0,6-1,7-0,7-1, at 35/1, 50/1, 90/1,150/1 (paddy power)
From a confident owls fan (confident that we will get hammered that is).
-
Decent line up , I would have iorfa over lees but think that Wednesday will win, so i'll leave it as I usually look to oppose them when the opponents odds are too big.
-
-
i saw wednesday charlton at their place and they looked poor, however they had a crippling injury list (13 out i think) and presumably some of these are now fit , notably lyle taylor.
-
i'll wait for team news first on the wednesday v charlton game
wednesday played better on saturday at birmingham and should have won.
They actually played some football for a change but a front 3 of murphy harris and forestieri dictates that hoofing it is not going to work.
One bit of injury news that may not be widespread is that bannan has been playing with an injury.
As for Fletcher i thought Wickham look better on saturday when they both came on late.
Fox is important if he starts as he gives a stability to the left back position.
