2.15 CH No i haven't  lost the plot but i do think 0.25 e/w RAPPER  50/1 BOG 3 places has a squeak here the only CD winner in the field although that was a C2 event but  has an ok record here horse not right last 2 starts  if thats sorted and  Jock can keep the horse interested may just run a big race. There is if buts and maybe's about the horse  but at 50's it's a yes from  me! Lost (Ran ok 66/1 4th)

Nicky Henderson’ hard to train Doddiethegreat makes his handicap entrance off of a tempting mark of 131 and having made a winning re-appearance following a 746 day absence at Ascot three weeks ago looks the one to be with. He’s un-beaten in winning two bumpers and twice over hurdles and remains an exciting prospect with Nico De Boinville, who’s ridden him on all four career starts, on board today. As long as he doesn’t ‘bounce’ he maybe too good for his twelve rivals.   DODDIETHEGREAT 1 point win @ 7/2 William Hill   Cheltenham 1.50 A decent sized field of thirteen line up for this mares only 2M 4 1/2F handicap chase where it maybe worth chancing Lucinda Russell’s six year old I Am Gonna Be. She made a promising stable/chase debut following a switch from Michael Scudamore’s stable when runner up to Everyday Champagne at Ayr in November having made an early mistake. Oliver Greenall and Josh Guerriero, who have a big chance of taking the previous race with Gesskille have a solid chance here also with their progressive White Rhino. He’s won four of his 6 starts since going handicapping and may still be ahead of his handicap mark. A comfortable winner at Carlisle in October on his re-appearance he ran a stormer over 2M 5F here on the old course at the last meeting going down by 3/4L to American Sniper. AGE
Seven of the last 10 winners of the Becher Chase were aged eight or nine – Aintree specialist Vieux Lion Rouge (2016 & 2020) and Oscar Time (2014) were the only horses outside the age bracket.
CHASE FORM
A lot of experience over fences appears key as nine of the last 10 winners had at least seven previous runs over fences and the same number had at least two wins over the larger obstacles.
COURSE FORM
You want to look for a horse that has previously run at Aintree as nine winners of the Becher Chase since 2013 met this trend.
DISTANCE FORM
Eight of the last 10 winners had run over 3m or further on at least five previous occasions.
LAST TIME OUT
An emerging trend to note is that the last six winners of the Becher Chase all had just one prep run.
RATING
As the Becher Chase is a handicap, we aren’t exactly dealing with the cream of the National Hunt crop, but nine of the last 10 winners were all rated 135 or higher by the handicapper.
WEIGHT
The presence of 162-rated Coko Beach in the line up means 10 of the 14 runners meet the stat that eight winners since 2013 carried 10st 9lbs or less to victory.

Played Glen to use (for a change) my weekly double odds boost, did 'arry to smaller stakes in view of the name! Had settled both as losers as forgot about the extra places and just noticed them settled as winners in my account. 

I hope you had 6places bud  you had  3rd and   6th good shooting.  Just the 5th for me

Both ran very well and placed  5th & 6th Cloudy ran his usual strong race maybe hard race a few week ago took a bit out of him Harry ran a cracker but  just ran out of steam trip a bit too far i think needs dropping  back to 3m maybe. But very happy with that in a great race.

Of the fancy runners at the head of the market i like  Frontal Assault but too short for me at 8/1 Stablemate and regular in these types of races DIOL KER not overly generous price at 16's but i will  have 0,5 e/w @ 16/1 Bog should give a good account  usually does. Will also have 0.25  e/w on both old lad  but still capable SCREAMING COLOURS 50/1 Bog & one that  should outrun its odds  EVERGLOW 33/1 stay on his feet could go very close!!
