  1. Well, she was even worse.
  2. I'm just rooting for Lukeman, Scutt and Wattimena, would be awesome if they somehow snatched a 2nd win. And I agree with Mansell, he looked in excellent form against a good Wade. And I went Greaves against Schindler at 3. She looked a bit dazed againt Noppert, and I guess she will be better this time.
  3. I went with: Rock 28/1 Wade 50/1 Lukeman 150/1 I'm also thinking about Lukeman, Scutt or Wattimena for group winners... those group matches are short, and IF the mentioned players are in form that day (big IF) they might do it.
  4. Good question. At least wikipedia says it's the same format, so A1/B2 vs A2/B1 in the quarter finals and so on... meeting the winner of the CD bracket in the semis etc. I don't know if wikipedia is reliable.
  5. From these three Rock makes the most appeal to me. By the way, with the short format and dangerous opponents, Bunting could easily be eliminated from the group.
  6. Wade is my very first longshot idea too... he has been playing consistently well now... and he should qualify from his group. A have to check out the exact brackets after the group phase, I haven't done that yet.
  7. Price, Clayton and Aspinall might be the biggest names missing, but looking at the season forms, Dobey is the most surprising miss. He won three PC events and topped the PC ranking. But that's not enough to qualify for the Grand Slam.
  8. Yes, B, D and H were the groups that caught my eye too... Humphries and Littler should qualify pretty straightforwardly.
  9. Fun fact: the last two winners went on to win the Worlds.
  10. Yeah, wrong guy for me to win the SF.😐 I am still sour about Rock, missing six match darts against Plaisier the last time... let's hope he delivers the win for you who picked him!
  11. Dobey...
  12. So Scutt is the common denominator, lol. Gl to all.
  13. I missed yesterday's event which if fortunate, because I wouldn't have picked Menzies or Bunting (who by the way has lost 6 finals in a row now). I would have picked Dobey though - who once again choked... one last try with this guy... this is my selection: Dobey 20/1 DVD 25/1 ----- Jim Williams 125/1 Scutt 200/1 O'Connor 200/1 Zonneveld 250/1
  14. It's much worse than if he lost against Cullen in the 1st round... I mean, he is something like #11 in the world, and the three other players are outaide the top30... and he was playing well... I really thought he would win... and then this utter rubbish.
  15. Should have bet the house on Edhouse.😁
  16. Noppert is quietly playing well too... I still believe.
  17. Come on, Noppert! If he wins, I will switch my ring tone to his walk-in music. 😀
  18. Let's hope so!
  19. Woodhouse-Edhouse SF? 😀 Or that would be too much?😀😀😀
  20. I also was on him... this tournament has produced quite a few shocking results.
  21. Great win by Madhouse! 😀
  22. Edhouse to beat Smith at 2,75 Even with that "curse" you mentioned... Smith is not to be trusted these days.
  23. I hope he doesn't.😀 I think DVD beats Gurney, but the price isn't that great.
  24. I agree. And the longer format should favor Wade here, I think he will crack Wattimena. I kind of regret I picked Noppert in the outright market instead of Wade (but eventually it doesn't matter with Humphries in the field, lol).
