  1. One I like the look of today is:

    Carolina Panthers 1.86 Bet365

In what looks to be an evenly contested match against the Arizona Cardinals I am going with the home side Panthers.

Both teams hold a 1-2 record this season so far, though the Panthers lost both their games by very tight margins and by late conceding of points so on another day they could have had a very different season record. The Cardinals will be no pushover as the odds clearly show. I am also impressed by the Panthers recent H2H record against the Cardinals currently standing at 5-0 from the last five meetings between the sides.

  2. One for today that has captured my imagination:

    Holger Rune 1.50 Bet365

Gentleman Rune faces Huesler in the final of ATP Sofia in what I feel is a fascinating matchup. Regular readers to any of my posts on here will notice that for me, rightly or wrongly, the sporting matchup/event has to capture my imagination and fascination and this is the one that stood out to me for the following reasons:

Rune like Sakkari yesterday has been winning 'tough' or 'ugly' as I called it yesterday. In that he has been losing the first set in some close fought battles yet he is displaying some wonderful mental toughness and battling back for the wins.

That said, opponent Huesler has also been displaying admirable qualities in his quest for the title and also holds a 1-0 H2H record over Rune, this admittedly though was on the different clay surface.

So really, I do feel the odds should be a lot closer, so why didn't I bet Huesler you ask? Well, I'm presuming the bookmakers may know something I don't so I am favouring with Rune. It could be the Huesler value was staring me right in the face. Though only time will tell and this all adds up to the fascinating threads to this intriguing final matchup.

  3. Going for one today with:

    Maria Sakkari 1.44 Bet365

In this WTA Parma Semi final clash against Kovinic I am siding with the favourite Sakkari.

Sakkari has been winning all her matches in this tournament 'ugly'. Conceding the first set in each game but then rallying back to win. Preferably this is displaying Miss Sakkari is in a great place mentally and will continue to show this good mental fortitude against today's opponent Kovinic. She will definitely require to as well, as Kovinic actually holds a 2-1 H2H advantage over Sakkari. So it will be fascinating to see how it all plays out in this beautiful game of sports betting.

  4. Haha cheers @StevieDay1983 . It is a welcome change to not be propping up The Punters Lounge Fantasy league scoring. In fact, the international break came at the right time as I required a week off just to process my stunned amazement at being at the heady heights of scoring a 91pts gameweek lol.

Fingers crossed this has appeased the board and fans of Dynamo CamSmith FC and that instead they are more distracted by the England international team and Harry Maguire's Circus clown antics instead.

  5. One I like the look of today is:

    Seattle Seahawks 1.86 Bet365

A fascinating matchup involving the Seahawks versus the Atlanta Falcons. The Seahawks lost last time out against San Francisco 49ers, but the time before that exceeded expectations by beating the Denver Broncos as underdogs in a close fought victory. The Falcons will be no pushover as although they have lost both games so far, they have done so battling valiantly. In fact, they finished with a rattle against the Rams. Not your top of the table clash though for me a truly fascinating matchup awaits and I will be excited to see how it all plays out.

What a shocker of a start, maybe should have cashed in, oops.

Golf can be such a bonkers sport sometimes. No one could have predicted Hojgaard would score an 8 on a par 3 hole.

It's definitely made it interesting for the neutral TV viewer but I would much preferred him to coast to victory for you mate.

Fingers crossed he avoids any further mishaps today and tomorrow.

Fox and paratore not made cut, but some still in contention. Hopefully though Hojgaard can continue his start.

Sorry forgot to mention what one it was in my initial post, lol. It was indeed Rasmus.

He's actually 4/9 on now, and 2nd and 4th on the betting list are both my French players, could cash in for 1/2 my winnings at the half way stage but I'll take my chance.

Also might need my head checked, I remember now why I elected for both Italians,  thought it was the Italian Open which had stuck in my head obviously from last week, lol.

Hojgaard going great guns mate. He's usually really cool and composed mentally so fingers crossed he sees the deal through over the next two days.

I've taken Cantlay in the top combined points scorer market. 365 have boosted the price to 9.50, which seems fair to me and might even have a little bit in it. Fingers crossed. :hope

Good start by Cantlay. USA dominant as would be expected. Thought it was going to be a whitewash 5-0 lead at one point.

    NFL Week 2 Results

OMG what happened this week? Browns, Raiders and the Ravens all throw away commanding leads.

    First bets W1 L4 – Staked 30 points, lost 30 points.

     (1) Panthers to win against the moneyline @ 11/10 – Lost = Giants win 19-16 in a close game

    (2) New England Patriots to win ATS -1.5 points @ 10/11 – Won = Patriots win 17-14

Patriots will get back to 1-1 against the Steelers minus TJ Watt. They did.

     (3) Browns to win ATS -6 points @ 10/11- Lost = Jets win 31-30.  I couldn’t believe my eyes.

The Browns will use both Nick Chubb and Kareem Hunt to pound the football. Jets will struggle to score. With 1:55 left to play Nick Chubb scored his third touchdown to put the Browns up 30-17 and it looked like Cleveland was going to coast to an easy victory. The Jets scored then two touchdowns just 60 seconds apart, which allowed them to steal a 31-30 win. Jets scoring 31!

     (4) Raiders to win ATS -5.5 points @ 10/11 – Lost = 29-23 to the Cardinals in overtime

What else does one say when your team is up 20-0 at halftime and loses in overtime?

     (5) The Titans to win ATS +10 points @ 10/11- Lost – Bills thrash Titans 41-7

Am I crazy for picking the Titans? Yes, I am crazy.

Second Bets W1 L4 15 points staked, lost 15 points.

    (6) Bengals to win ATS -7.5 points @ 10/11 – Lost – Dallas win 20-17

Bengals QB Joe Burrow will not throw four interceptions again. Bengals need to sort out its offence the Cowboys sacked Joe Burrow six times.

      (7) Saints to win against the moneyline @ 13/10 – Lost – Tampa won 20-10

The Saints defeated Tampa twice last season but revenge is sweet, Tampa Bay created five second-half turnovers, including a pick-six.

     (8) Green Bay Packers to win ATS -10 points @ 10/11- Won = Easy 27-10 win

The Packers are 22-2 at home over the past three seasons, make that 23-2.

     (9) Bronco’s to win ATS-10 points @ 10/11- Lost = Bronco’s only win by 7

The Texans will not be coming into Mile High and causing an upset against a much strengthened Bronco’s team. Broncos win, but only by seven, 16-9.

     (10) Ravens to win ATS -3.5 points @ 10/11- Lost = Dolphins pull off an historic come-back win 42-38

They will find the Ravens a lot tougher. The Dolphins rallied from a 21-point fourth quarter deficit to stun the Ravens. Unbelievable!

Week 2 Record - W2 L8 Staked 45.00 returned Nil for an overall loss of 45.00 points.

YTD Record - W8 L12 staked 90.00 returned 36.80 for an overall loss of 53.20 points.

Some crazy comebacks indeed my friend. Love your writeups. All your bets had excellent angles, so on another weekend could have been so much different. Onto week 3 we go!
