Ambiente Friendly , what more can be said .3 furlongs out rider sits motionless with City of Troy 3 lengths behind , 2 furlongs out still about a length ahead of City of Troy , rider still motionless . One and a half furlongs out , suddenly catches sight of City of Troy about a length ahead and finally decides to press the button all too late . Commiserations to all who backed him . I was in the Coral shop with a few others we all were asking 3 furlongs out "what is He doing , go and get the race won " , the man commentating in the Coral shop was also going into melt down saying " He hasn`t seen Ryan Moore on His inside at all "...............What might be said is if Callum Shephard had ridden , would He not just kicked on 3 furlongs out as He did in the Derby trial at Lingfield?.......or maybe it came back to bite whoevers decision it was to jock Him off . -

Regarding Caius Chorister last night , Jamie Spencer has ridden the horse 3 times , He rode the perfect race on it the time before and was touched off by Coltrane. , He was at Sandown last night , but Mr Menusier put Rossa Ryan up , very puzzling . -
Cannot believe Vadream is 7=1 for the Temple Stakes at Haydock Saturday .Weather warnings issued for today and tomorrow . This confirmed mudlark must be an ew steal .
-
While we were all scrambling around trying to pick winners in the UK ,Luke Morris rides 2 winners for Archie Watson in Germany , and Silvestre De Souza rides a winner for Mr Menusier in the German Guineas . Nothing pinned up in the betting shop in the morning , will pay more attention of International racecards in future .

Latest forecast for light rain every day of York meeting . Ground good/firm at present . Should be perfect ground if forecast correct .
-
Maybe a bit early but had a quick look at the Hambleton Handicap and BET365 have Godwinson at 6-1 , a little 5-1 available with other firms . Massive eyecatcher in the Newbury Spring Cup can see it starting at 5-2/9-4 on the day .

Henry Longfellow , said by O`Brien "will come on for the run " , ridden as if on a schooling session by Ryan Moore , and yet stayed 6-4 all day . I can`t believe anybody was backing this horse , and yet it`s price stayed firm.......absolutely baffling . What were the bookies expecting ? -

Had a quick look at Cat Ninja , well bred horse so i can understand the confidence , Running Spirit is Gosdens other and is bred for speed , might do a reverse forecast as well . -
3 Group Races to enjoy 1258 Double Major could be the best stayer in Europe if last years runaway win on Arc day can be believed , surely has higher aims than this weak Group 3 , but if fit should win doing handsprings 11-8 1450 The Prix Ganay group 1 ......Zarabek e.w. ...messed about with the distance last year , seems better at 10 furlongs so worth a punt 11-2 1525 Ottery , again seemed to take them a while to find it`s correct trip 10-3 All in all 3 cracking races with £280,000 in total up for grabs , all winnable .........and not 1 British entry.........and we twine on about prize money and the lack of quality races early in the season .

Didn`t back Masai Mara in the 1350 , but yet again the starter wouldn`t let them go for no apparent reason , he then lets them go when the horse in question wasn`t even pointing the right way . Disgraceful , and anyone who bet the horse will lose their money , unless they are lucky enough to have bet with a firm who will declare it an non runner . -
