  1. Nottingham Forest vs Chelsea

Forest was left second from bottom after being thumped 3-0 by Manchester United at Old Trafford on Tuesday night. That defeat broke their run of two games without losing, and the hosts stayed one point below the safe zone. Steve Cooper's side did have the ball in the net late in the first half, but Willy Boly was ruled offside by VAR. Forest have earned just two points and scored only one goal from eight top-flight road trips, but can take heart from their home form. West Ham, Liverpool, and Crystal Palace were all beaten 1-0 at the City Ground, along with draws against Aston Villa and Brentford. That's why the home fans hope for another success despite being underdogs in this game.

Chelsea has work to do to make the top four this term after struggling before the Qatar 2022 lay-off when losing three straight league games. However, the Blues began their recovery with a comfortable 2-0 victory versus Bournemouth, which saw them being six points behind the fourth-placed Spurs with one game in hand. Havertz, who was tipped to break the deadlock, was handed the central striker's role by Potter and grabbed a superb poacher's goal by sliding in to convert Raheem Sterling's cross. The Blues need to enter a series of good performances to keep their chances for the best continental football next season.

    Full-Time Winner Odds & Prediction

Chelsea is a favorite in this game, but Nottingham forest hasn't lost its last five straight games at City Ground. Therefore, we expect a tight match, and the hosts shouldn't lose by more than one goal.

    Goals Market Prediction

Nottingham's home games have been pretty tight lately, while Chelsea has been struggling on the road, scoring just once in the previous three outings. Therefore, we don't expect this game to go over a 2.5 margin.

  2. Tottenham Hotspur vs Aston Villa

Tottenham Hotspur came from behind three times to shade Leeds in a seven-goal thriller on home turf prior to the World Cup break and produced another fightback at Brentford on Boxing Day. However, they got only a point this time. Spurs found themselves 2-0 down early in the second half, but Harry Kane's fine header cut the deficit, and Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg slammed home an equalizer. Thanks to that point, the Spurs remained in the top four, but they are now three points behind the third-placed Newcastle United. Antonio Conte is too shrewd a coach to allow the slow starts to continue, so watch out for a response. The home fans will want a victory here, and the players will give their best to produce it.

Aston Villa spent the Qatar 2022 lay-off in good spirits after winning three out of four in the league but resumed with a 3-1 home loss to Liverpool. Ollie Watkins replied to first-half strikes from Mohamed Salah and Virgil van Dijk with just under an hour gone, but Stefan Bajcetic ended hopes of a fightback. New boss Unai Emery has been content to let Villa go out and play during his brief tenure so far, perhaps reacting to the criticism predecessor Steven Gerrard received for his style of play. Villa is currently safe in the middle of the table, but the visitors need to beware of slipping into the danger zone in case of a series of poor results.

    Full-Time Winner Odds & Prediction

Neither team has been consistent lately, and this game could easily go either way despite the hosts being favorites. Nevertheless, we believe the Spurs will meet expectations and book another home victory.

    Goals Market Prediction

These two teams have been involved in many interesting matches this season, and this one shouldn't be much different. The crowd should enjoy at least one goal in each net.

  3. Manchester City vs Everton

Manchester City, who won their previous game, will hope for a similar result following the 3-1 Premier League victory over Leeds United. Thanks to that success, they managed to return to the winning track in the English top flight. Manchester City hasn't been able to stop scoring goals, finding the back of the net every time they've gone out to play in their last six matches. They have hit an aggregate of 12 during that time while also conceding a total of six. Coming into this meeting, Manchester City is unbeaten in the league by Everton in their last ten games. A long run without a loss. The home fans hope their team can extend that streak a little bit longer.

Since a loss in their previous game against Wolverhampton Wanderers in Premier League competition, Everton and their fans will hope to get a better result this time. The Toffees have every reason to be worried, as they are just one point above the red line. Moreover, they lost three times in a row in the Premier League. Throughout their six latest matches, Frank Lampard's Everton has slotted home five times, thus yielding them a goals-per-game average of 0.83. Everton boss Frank Lampard currently has to contend with reduced team options. Andros Townsend (Cruciate Ligament Injury) and Andy Lonergan (Knee Problems) are those who can't be considered.

    Full-Time Winner Odds & Prediction

Everton is in real trouble, and they visit one of the toughest opponents in the English top flight. Manchester City is a firm favorite, and we expect another comfortable victory for the defending champions.

    Goals Market Prediction

Everton failed to find Man City's net on the previous four occasions while having severe troubles in front of the opposition's goal this season. Therefore, we think the hosts might keep the clean sheet again.

  4. Wolves vs Manchester United

Wolves will be hoping for a repeat of their last result following a 2-1 Premier League triumph vs Everton. It was their first win after five unsuccessful attempts in the English top flight. Julen Lopetegui's Wolverhampton Wanderers have hit the target eight times over their last six outings. Conversely, the tally of goals that have been scored against them in that same time is 7. Coming into this contest, Wolverhampton Wanderers have not won at home in their last three matches in the league. Looking into their selection issues, Chiquinho (Cruciate Ligament Injury), Toti (Unknown Injury), and Sasa Kalajdzic (Cruciate Ligament Rupture) won't be available for Wolves boss Julen Lopetegui.

Manchester United comes into this match following a 3-0 Premier League win over Nottingham Forest. The Red Devils continued with their solid performances in the English top flight and remained one point behind Tottenham Hotspur. In their previous six outings, Manchester United has helped themselves to a tally of 11 goals. Manchester United has also scored in every single one of those games. In that time, their defenders have had six goals scored by their opponents. Heading into this contest, Manchester United hasn't been defeated by Wolverhampton Wanderers in games played away from home for the previous three matches in the league. The away side hopes its streak can continue after Saturday's match.

    Full-Time Winner Odds & Prediction

Wolves are one of the biggest underachievers this season, and they will have a tough task against Manchester United. We believe the momentum is on the visitors' side, and they should pick up valuable three points.

    Goals Market Prediction

The hosts are the least productive team in the league, and we anticipate a pretty tight game. Therefore, the crowd at Molineux Stadium shouldn't see more than two goals in total.

  5. Liverpool vs Leicester City

Following on from their previous result, Liverpool will be hoping for more of the same after a 3-1 Premier League success vs Aston Villa. It was their third straight victory in the Premier League that kept them in 6th place. Jürgen Klopp's Liverpool has netted a total of 12 times over their past six outings. The corresponding number of goals that have been scored against them in those same games amounts to six. The Reds have boosted their confidence, and they want another confident display that should bring them all three points. Regarding the availability issues, Luis Díaz (Knee Injury), Diogo Jota (Calf Injury), and Arthur Melo (Surgery) won't be playing for Liverpool manager Jürgen Klopp.

Since suffering a loss in their previous game against Newcastle United in Premier League competition, Leicester City and their fans will hope to get a better result this time. That defeat broke their two-game winning run, and the Foxes are only four points ahead of the red line. A series of outstanding showings from the Leicester City defensive unit has resulted in their' goals against' tally amounting to 4 from their last six clashes combined. Over that same period, the number of goals they scored themselves was 10. Leicester City boss Brendan Rodgers has multiple availability issues to deal with. Ricardo Pereira (Achilles tendon rupture) and Ryan Bertrand (Knee Surgery) are names that won't be on the team sheet.

    Full-Time Winner Odds & Prediction

The Reds have stabilized their form, and they are firm favorites in this encounter. We believe they will meet expectations and celebrate a comfortable win.

    Goals Market Prediction

Leicester City has been involved in many efficient matches this season, while the last two Liverpool games went over a 3.5 margin. That's why we think the crowd at Anfield might enjoy at least four goals in total.

  6. West Ham vs Brentford

West Ham United won't want a repeat of their last result here following the 3-1 Premier League defeat in their previous game at the hands of Arsenal. Although they had a half-time lead, the Hammers suffered their fourth straight defeat. They are now sitting in a disappointing 16th place, just a point ahead of the relegation zone. It has been a rare occasion in recent games that West Ham United has managed to hold out for a full 90 minutes. It will be a concern for them that West Ham United has seen its defense breached in 5 of their previous six games, leaking ten goals on the way. They need to start picking up points not to enter into big trouble.

In their last game, Brentford drew 2-2 in the Premier League match with Tottenham Hotspur. It was their fourth straight game without tasting a defeat, keeping them safe in the middle of the table. Brentford has been dangerous up the front of late, having scored eight times in their last six matches. Having said that, Brentford has had its issues at the back, also conceding in 6 of those same clashes. Coming into this clash, Brentford is unbeaten in their previous two league matches away from home. Thanks to a mainly healthy squad, there is only a single fitness issue for the Brentford manager Thomas Frank to be concerned with. Aaron Hickey (Ankle Injury) misses out for this game.

    Full-Time Winner Odds & Prediction

The Hammers are in a pretty challenging moment, and they don't have the right for mistakes when playing at home. Despite their poor form, we think West Ham is capable of getting important three points in this encounter.

    Goals Market Prediction

West Ham has had issues in the final third this season, while Brentford has been involved in many high-scoring matches lately. We should see an entertaining clash with at least one goal in each net.

  7. Leeds United vs Manchester City

Leeds United will be hoping to bounce back here following the 4-3 Premier League loss in their previous game against Tottenham Hotspur. That defeat broke their two-game winning streak that dragged them out of the relegation zone. Nevertheless, Leeds United is still far from safety, being two points ahead of the red line. It has been seldom in recent games where Leeds United hasn't conceded. The facts show that Leeds United have failed to prevent opponents from scoring in 6 of their previous six clashes, leaking 14 goals in the process. Coming into this fixture, Leeds United have not beaten Manchester City in their last two league matches. Stuart Dallas (Femoral Fracture) and Junior Firpo (Knee Injury) won't be playing for Leeds United manager Jesse Marsch.

Manchester City will go into the clash following a 3-2 EFL Cup win with the downing of Liverpool in their last match. However, the Citizens need to bounce back in the English top flight since they lost to Brentford 2-1 just before the World Cup 2022 started. In their previous half-dozen outings, Manchester City has helped themselves to a total of 12 goals. Manchester City has also not failed to score in every single one of those games. During that period, they've seen six goals go into their own net. Ahead of this meeting, Manchester City remains undefeated over Leeds United in games played away from home for the previous two league matches. Thanks to a completely healthy group to choose from, Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola doesn't have any fitness concerns to report before this match.

    Full-Time Winner Odds & Prediction

Although Leeds United is a tricky host, Manchester City is a firm favorite in this encounter. Therefore, we think the visitors will celebrate a comfortable win and return home with all three points.

  8. Manchester United vs Nottingham Forest

Manchester United, who won their previous game, will hope for a similar result following the 2-0 EFL Cup success against Burnley. The Red Devils have stabilized their home form lately, winning four of the last five games at Old Trafford. Manchester United hasn't had any problems with scoring, hitting the target in one hundred percent of their previous six games. They've managed to rack up 11 during that period while seeing the number of goals scored against them stand at 6. However, time will tell whether such a trend might persist in this upcoming game. Man Utd wants to continue with confident displays at their ground and keep chasing Tottenham Hotspur, who sits in 4th place. Axel Tuanzebe (Unknown Injury) and Brandon Williams (Unknown Injury) will not be taking part for Manchester United boss Erik ten Hag.

Nottingham Forest will go into this game after a 4-1 EFL Cup win to beat Blackburn Rovers in their previous fixture. The newly-promoted team will struggle to keep its head above the water this season. Nevertheless, Nottm Forest lost just once in the last five rounds. They are just one point away from safety, and the visitors will try to stun the Red Devils on the road. Steve Cooper's Nottingham Forest have found the back of the net ten times throughout their latest six matches. The aggregate of goals they conceded during those matches comes to 8. It will be a tough task for Forest, but they won't give up on remaining undefeated.

    Full-Time Winner Odds & Prediction

Manchester United has been pretty confident at Old Trafford lately, and the hosts have another excellent chance to pick up all three points. We think they should celebrate a win by at least two goals.

  9. Chelsea vs Bournemouth

Chelsea will be hoping for a better result after the 1-0 Premier League losing effort in their last game against Newcastle United. The Blues lost three times in a row in the English top flight and slipped to 8th place. It has not been often in recent times where Chelsea has managed to hold out for a full 90 minutes. In fact, Chelsea has failed to prevent opponents from scoring in 6 of their previous six clashes, shipping ten goals in the process. They need to tighten their defense and return to winning ways as soon as possible to be competitive in the top-four race. Ben Chilwell (Hamstring Injury), N'Golo Kanté (Hamstring Injury), and Armando Broja (Cruciate Ligament Rupture) won't be available for Chelsea coach Graham Potter.

After tasting defeat last time out to Newcastle United in EFL Cup action, Bournemouth and their traveling fans will hope for a better result here. Nevertheless, they managed to get out of the relegation zone thanks to the victory over Everton just before the World Cup. The stats don't lie, and Bournemouth has been scored against in 5 of their last six games, letting opponents get 11 goals overall. In defense, Bournemouth has clearly had some problems. Going into this encounter, Bournemouth has not won away from home in their last four matches in the league. Thanks to a mainly full-strength group, there is just the sole fitness issue for the Bournemouth manager Gary O'Neil to contend with. Lloyd Kelly (Ankle Injury) misses out for this game.

    Full-Time Winner Odds & Prediction

Neither team can be proud of its recent form, but Chelsea should meet expectations and deliver a win. We think the Blues can beat Bournemouth by at least two goals.

  10. Arsenal vs West Ham

Arsenal fans will want a repeat of their previous result, a 2-0 Premier League success versus Wolverhampton Wanderers. That was the Gunners' third straight Premier League win that kept them four points ahead of Manchester City. From their prior six matches before this one, in as many as 5 of them, a bet on "Both Teams to Score" would've been a losing one. That kind of pattern might not follow through here, however. Heading into this contest, Arsenal has not been beaten in the league by West Ham United in their previous six games. Nearly everyone is up for selection, with just the sole fitness concern for the Arsenal coach Mikel Arteta to be concerned with from a near full-strength set of players. Gabriel Jesus (Knee Injury) misses out.

Since tasting defeat last time out to Leicester City in Premier League action, West Ham United will be hoping to turn things around here. It has been a disappointing campaign for the Hammers since they are just one point ahead of the relegation zone. David Moyes's West Ham United have seen their goal attempts be successful a total of 7 times in the course of their latest six matches. The overall goals they conceded during those matches add up to seven. West Ham needs to improve its performances in the upcoming rounds so that they start to climb to the safe mid-table finish.

    Full-Time Winner Odds & Prediction

Arsenal has been the biggest overachiever in the Premier League so far, and they might continue with excellent performances. Although West Ham can be a tricky opponent, we think the Gunners will pick up all three points.

    Goals Market Prediction

Arsenal has been pretty efficient so far this season, while West Ham should search for a surprise in this match. Therefore, the crowd might see an entertaining game that should go over a 2.5 margin.

  11. Aston Villa vs Liverpool

Aston Villa is hoping to win again after their last result, a 2-1 Premier League success versus Brighton & Hove Albion. Matches involving Aston Villa have tended to be exciting ones recently, with plenty of scoring the rule rather than the exception. Over their past six clashes, the sum of 24 goals has been recorded for both teams combined (at an average of 4 goals per game), with 11 of them belonging to Aston Villa. The Villans currently sit in the middle of the table, but a potential win could see them being just a point behind Liverpool. Boubacar Kamara (Knee Injury), Philippe Coutinho (Hamstring Injury), and Diego Carlos (Achilles tendon rupture) aren't available for Aston Villa boss Unai Emery.

Liverpool heads into the encounter following a 3-1 Premier League win with the defeat of Southampton in their previous fixture. However, the Reds are seven points behind the top-four zone, and they need to work on their consistency. A succession of effective performances from the Liverpool defensive unit has resulted in the number of goals they've conceded, amounting to 4 from their previous six clashes in total. During the same period, their forwards scored 11. Liverpool manager Jürgen Klopp has to choose a team with limited availability. Naby Keïta (Muscle Injury), Luis Díaz (Knee Injury), Diogo Jota (Calf Injury), and Arthur Melo (Surgery) miss out here.

    Full-Time Winner Odds & Prediction

Liverpool has been struggling on the road, booking only one win when playing away from home. However, they have been successful twice in a row at Villa Park, and we think they might continue that positive run.

    Goals Market Prediction

Their head-to-head clashes have been a joy to watch recently, as the last seven encounters at Villa Park went over a 2.5 margin. This one shouldn't be much different, and the crowd should enjoy at least three goals in total.

  12. Argentina vs France

Argentina put in a dominating display to cruise through to the Final. Croatia actually started the game on the front foot, but as soon as Argentina got their first goal, there was no looking back for Messi and co. Argentina has had to wait a long time since its last World Cup success, and its fans have been amazing throughout the entire tournament. Obviously, many romantics out there will be routing for the South Americans purely because they would love to see Messi secure the one major tournament that has escaped him for so long, but it's going to be a very close and competitive 90 minutes.

France was given a tough game against Morocco, but the North Africans feared for the worst as soon as that first goal went in early on. France controlled the game for the most part and was happy to sit in and protect their lead, knowing that Morocco would eventually leave too much space at the back, and that is just what happened. Mbappe set up the second killer goal that broke Moroccan hearts, but in truth, France was the deserved winner, and it has set up an exciting final full of potential Golden Boot winners. Both teams are just one step away from glory, and they won't want to miss this chance.

    Full-Time Winner Odds & Prediction

It is a huge game, and both teams will hit the pitch with a plan to win the game. The encounter might go either way, but we think France has been more stable during the tournament, and they should win back-to-back titles.

    Goals Market Prediction

The stake is immense in this game, but both squads are packed with star players. They have incredible attacking potential, and we should see an entertaining final with at least one goal in each net.

  13. Croatia vs Morocco

Croatia started positively in their defeat to Argentina but was eventually undone, and as soon as they conceded the first goal, they never really looked like they would get back into the game. Actually, Vatreni have won just one game in 90 minutes in the tournament to reach the semi-finals. These two sides opened their campaigns in the group stage with a clash, which ended in a goalless draw, and was one of the most boring games in the world Cup. Croatia is disappointed after a loss against Argentina, and they need to get back on track mentally.

Morocco has been the surprise package of the 2022 World Cup, becoming the first-ever African country to make it through to the semi-finals and doing an entire continent proud. Similarly to Croatia, the North Africans seemed to lack a real goal threat in the final third, but their defense was really impressive from day one and even so against France, who had to work hard for their 2-goals in the semi-final. Walid Regragui needs to raise his players for one last game at what has been an incredible tournament for Morocco. There will be changes to the starting XI – and there will be plenty of substitutes throughout after a tiring competition. Captain Romain Saïss is likely to miss out because of injury, but Walid Cheddira will be available again after suspension.

    Full-Time Winner Odds & Prediction

It is going to be another tight match, and it can easily go either way. We wouldn't be surprised if it goes to extra time and possibly the penalty shootout. Although Croatia has more experience in these games, Morocco is capable of holding their opponents leveled for at least 90 minutes.

    Goals Market Prediction

  14. France vs Morocco

France secured a 2-1 victory against England to progress to the semi-finals. Tchmouameni fired in a long-range effort that beat Pickford in the 17th minute, though there was a foul in the build-up, which the referee and VAR failed to award, so the goal stood. Kane got England back onto level terms in the 54th minute via a penalty, but Giroud had a header deflected past Pickford in the 78th minute to restore France's one-goal advantage. England should have equalized when Kane stepped up to take another spot-kick, but this time the Tottenham forward blazed his spot-kick over the bar, and England was out. Therefore, Les Bleus are on the way to their second consecutive finals, and they want to meet expectations.

Morocco played just the way everyone expected them to from the very first whistle against Portugal, defending the edge of their box and launching fast counter-attacks. As was as if the Portuguese hadn't done their homework and just assumed that they were going to win the game by turning up, but once En-Nesyri headed Morocco in front, they feared the worst for Ronaldo and co. Speaking of which, Ronaldo was introduced early in the second half but could carve out an equalizer for the favorites. The match ended in tears for the former Man Utd star despite getting substitute Cheddira sent off in stoppage time, and Morocco held firm to claim a famous 1-0 victory.

    Full-Time Winner Odds & Prediction

Morocco has been the biggest sensation in the tournament so far, and they will produce another miracle if they eliminate France. However, we think Les Bleus are closer to victory, and they shouldn't repeat Portugal's mistake.

    Goals Market Prediction

  15. Argentina vs Croatia

Argentina looked to have their quarter-final match all tied up as the game entered its final stages. A goal from Molina and a Messi penalty had put the favorites 2-0 up with just 17 minutes left on the clock, but van Gaal sent on his secret weapon, Weghorst, who first headed home to make it 2-1 in the 83rd-minute and then finished neatly with virtually the last touch in stoppage-time to take the game into extra-time. Argentina looked stunned but managed to hold on through the 30 minutes of extra time to see the game decided by a penalty shout-out. Van Dijk and Berghuis both missed for the Dutch, and although Fernandez fired his spot-kick wide for Argentina, Lautaro Martinez scored his to take Argentina into the semi-finals. Leo Messi and the lads should be more confident in this clash to secure their place in the finals.

Croatia knew they were going to have to frustrate Brazil if they were going to get through the toughest of quarter-final draws. The Europeans took the game to Neymar and co, who struggled to get into the game. The match ended up goalless after 90 minutes, but it looked like Brazil had done enough to win the game when Neymar fired the ball home in the 105th minute. However, Croatia never gave up, and in the 117th minute, Petkovic scored his first international goal in over two years, with the aid of a deflection, to take the game into a penalty shoot-out. Croatia scored each of their opening four penalties, and Brazil saw Rodrygo and Marquinhos miss, which meant that the Europeans had succeeded in their mission to upset the odds, leaving the South Americans feeling stupid for not putting Neymar higher up the order of takers. Another challenging task is ahead of them, but they will try to secure another final for their country.

    Full-Time Winner Odds & Prediction

It is going to be a close game since Croatia is very disciplined in the backline. However, Argentina shouldn't miss this opportunity to fight for the title, and we believe they will win the game in regulation time.

    Goals Market Prediction

Both teams have been involved in low-scoring games throughout the tournament, and this one shouldn't be much different. The stake in this game is huge, and we don't expect to see more than two goals in total.

  16. England vs France

Early on against Senegal, England needed Pickford to stop them from going behind, but once Henderson opened the scoring in the 38th minute, Southgate's men never looked back. Kane made it 2-0 before the break with his first goal of the tournament, and just before the hour mark, Saka scored a third to wrap up a comfortable England victory and set up a date with France in the quarter-finals. The Three Lions have been pretty efficient so far in the tournament, as they have already scored more goals than in the several previous campaigns combined. However, they have the defending champions as the next opponent, and they need to produce another good display.

France was the heavy favorite to beat Poland in the Round of 16. Despite a decent performance from Lewandowski and co in the opening forty-five, a goal from Giroud just before the break put France into complete control of the game. Mbappe put his name firmly at the top of the list for the Golden Boot award as the young French striker scored two goals in the second half to put France 3-0 up. Poland pulled a goal back through a last-ditch Lewandowski penalty that just took the shine off what was a near-perfect performance from the French. This feels like an obvious choice, but the performance of Kylian Mbappe could swing this game in one team's direction. France has relied on their star player to fire them to glory at the World Cup, with the 23-year-old PSG forward netting five goals at the tournament so far, making him the odds-on favorite to claim the Golden Boot award. Nevertheless, Les Bleus need another confident display to continue their road to defending the title.

    Full-Time Winner Odds & Prediction

It is going to be a close encounter that can go either way. Nevertheless, France seemed more confident so far in the competition, and we believe they will find a way to victory in this clash.

Both teams have been pretty productive so far in the tournament, and we expect them to continue in the same fashion. Although they might be more cautious than usual, we think neither team will keep its net intact.

  17. Morocco vs Portugal

Morocco might have ridden their luck at times against Spain in the Round of 16 match, but they also created plenty of chances of their own to win the game in the opening 90 minutes and extra time. However, both teams failed to score during each of those periods, and the game had to be settled via a penalty shoot-out. Morocco scored three of their opening four penalties while Bounou proved the hero between the sticks for the African side, saving two of Spain's three opening spot-kicks, with the other hitting the post. With a win over Spain under their belts, Morocco will feel as if they can defeat Portugal in the quarter-finals and become the first African side to reach the Semi-Finals. They have no pressure ahead of this game, knowing they are considered underdogs again.

Many were expecting the Portugal vs Switzerland Round of 16 tie to be a closely fought battle with few goals being produced. However, Portugal dominated the game from start to finish, embarrassing the Swiss, who simply didn't seem to turn up on the night. Ramos was brought into the starting lineup ahead of Cristiano Ronaldo, and the young Benfica forward proved to be the catalyst for Portugal scoring a hat trick on his team's journey to a 6-1 victory. Captain and veteran center-back, Pepe, scored the game's second goal, and full-back Guerreiro added a fourth in the 55th minute. Man City's Akanji pulled a goal back for the Swiss from a corner, but Portugal scored twice more after that, including a stoppage-time effort from substitute Leao. Os Navegadores are full of confidence, and they seek another excellent display.

    Full-Time Winner Odds & Prediction

Portugal is a favorite in this encounter, but we don't think they will have an easy job. Morocco is among the most disciplined teams in this tournament, and it will be a close battle. Nevertheless, Portugal can count on better freshness ahead of this game, and we believe they will secure a place in the semi-finals.

    Goals Market Prediction

Morocco has conceded just once in the World Cup 2022, and interestingly, it was an own goal. Although Portugal counted to six against Switzerland, this will be a much tighter encounter. Therefore, we don't expect to see more than two goals in total.

  18. Netherlands vs Argentina

The Netherlands never looked like losing their last Round of 16 match against the USA, taking the lead after 10 minutes through Depay. Blind scored a rare goal in first-half stoppage-time to make van Gaal's half-time team talk that much easier. Although the US pulled a goal back through Wright, the Netherlands responded really well and sealed their passage into the quarter-finals with an 81st-minute goal from Dumfries that made the final scoreline 3-1. Oranje didn't have much trouble reaching this stage so far, but the toughest challenge is ahead of them. Nevertheless, Louis van Gaal's side will try to overcome that one, too.

Argentina dominated the first half against Australia but did find it hard to break the underdogs down until the 35th minute when who else, but Lionel Messi fired the South Americans in front. Alvarez added a second goal in the 57th minute, and Argentina looked like they were going to cruise to victory. However, an own goal from Fernandez in the 77th minute gave Australia hope. With virtually the last kick of the game, Australia almost equalized and had goalkeeper Martinez to thank for keeping the scoreline at 2-1. Argentina needs to be much more confident against a more serious opponent like the Netherlands in order to continue their road to the finals.

    Full-Time Winner Odds & Prediction

It is going to be a close game, and Argentina will have a pretty tough job. The Netherlands has been quite disciplined so far, and we wouldn't be surprised if this match goes to extra time. Therefore, the European team shouldn't lose in regulation time.

    Goals Market Prediction

We shouldn't speak too much about Argentina's attacking area, but the Netherlands also has many talented offensive players. Therefore, we don't see either team keeping the clean sheet in this encounter.

  19. Croatia vs Brazil

We didn't see the best of Croatia in their last Round of 16 match against Japan, perhaps because their midfield was kept quiet. Modric, 37, hardly made any impact on the game before he was substituted. However, despite being a goal down at the break, Croatia responded well in the second half and got level through a lovely curling header from Perisic in the 55th minute and came close to winning the game in regulation time. The match finished in a 1-1 draw, and the teams couldn't be separated in extra time, so the quarter-final place was settled on penalties. This shoot-out lacked drama, much like the match itself, as Japan missed three of their opening four spot-kicks and Croatia converted three of theirs, and the tie was decided before either team had to take the fifth penalty. However, the World Cup 2018 runners-up will have a tough challenge this time as they take on Brazil.

Brazil put on one of the best first-half shows in World Cup history as they scored four times without reply against an unorganized South Korea side. Vinicius Junior got the ball rolling in the 7th minute with the opening goal, and a Neymar penalty 6 minutes later made it 2-0. Richarlison scored a wonderful team goal in the 29th minute, and Paqueta scored a fourth in the 38th minute. South Korea was far too open and played right into the South Americans' hands. The second forty-five saw Brazil take their foot off the accelerator, and South Korea managed to pull a goal back through a deflected effort from Paik Seung-Ho, but it had no bearing on the outcome as Brazil ran out 4-1 winners. Brazil wants to go through the semis after missing that stage in the previous tournament, and they look pretty confident.

    Full-Time Winner Odds & Prediction

Croatia hasn't impressed in the World Cup so far, as they booked just one win, followed by three draws. Brazil is a firm favorite in this encounter, and we believe the South American side will meet expectations.

    Goals Market Prediction

Both teams can provide damage to the opponent's defense, and we expect to see an entertaining game. This one should go over a 2.5 margin on Friday evening.

  20. Portugal vs Switzerland

After securing the top-spot finish after two rounds, Portugal suffered a stoppage-time defeat against South Korea. It didn't hurt them a lot, but another wave of complacency could cause them a lot of trouble. Portugal didn't impress against Ghana in the opening match, but a display against Uruguay was much better. However, Portugal needs to show a higher level of consistency if they want to challenge for the title. They will have a disciplined team ahead of them, and Bruno Fernandes and Cristiano Ronaldo should find a way how to unlock the Swiss' defense.

Switzerland, meanwhile, secured a runners-up spot by beating Serbia, 3-2, in a thrilling finish to Group G. In that game, Switzerland had 46% possession and 14 shots at goal with seven on target. For Switzerland, goals were scored by Xherdan Shaqiri (20'), Breel Embolo (44'), and Remo Freuler (48'). It was a real rollercoaster, as Switzerland dropped a 1-0 lead, but they managed to turn the result around. Despite being unstable in the back during their previous match, the Swiss were quite dangerous when attacking the opponent's goal. However, they will need to regain the defensive steel if they want to progress to the quarter-finals. For the Swiss, Noah Okafor does not start having carried a muscle injury.

    Full-Time Winner Odds & Prediction

It is going to be an interesting match, as it can easily go either way. Nevertheless, Portugal is a slight favorite in this clash, and we think they will meet expectations and celebrate a victory.

    Goals Market Prediction

Both teams should be cautious, and we don't expect to see an efficient match on Tuesday evening. Therefore, we think that fans won't see more than two goals in total.

  21. Morocco vs Spain

Despite getting handed a tough group with Belgium, Croatia, and Canada, with two of the top three teams from the last World Cup, Morocco wasn't exactly seen as an absolute outsider. After all, they are a good team, but still, not many people saw them in the knockout stages. However, Morocco topped the group with two wins and a draw against Croatia, so they proved that they have to be taken seriously by everyone. Morocco has been tough to crack in the back, and they have conceded only once so far in the tournament. They hope to produce another disciplined display that could increase their chances of securing a positive result.

After demolishing Costa Rica at the start of the World Cup, Spain was in a good position ahead. The team drew with Germany in the second round, and they knew that they could go through even with a loss. And since they also knew the results from the group they were crossing with, Spain didn't mind losing to Japan and finishing second in the group since that led them to Morocco instead of Croatia and also to the other side of the bracket compared to Argentina and Brazil, who they can now only meet in the final. Exactly how much of Japan's win was due to Spain's calculations remains a mystery, but Spain won't have an easy job against Morocco either. There are also some younger guys who could make a splash here, like Ansu Fati, Yeremi Pino, Gavi, and Pedri.

    Full-Time Winner Odds & Prediction

Spain is a favorite in this encounter, but they won't have an easy job. Morocco is capable of keeping this game tight, and we don't see them losing by more than a goal.

    Goals Market Prediction

La Furia Roja has a lot of talent in the offense, while Morocco could also produce something in this match. Therefore, we believe neither team will keep the clean sheet in this encounter.

  22. Brazil vs South Korea

Brazil won't want a repeat of their last result here after a 1-0 WC22 loss in their previous game against Cameroon. They have been impressive in the final third in each of their three group games, and their winning margin could have been wide if not for some brilliant saves from the opposition goalkeepers. Richarlison, Vinicius, and Raphinha were a constant threat in the final third in the first two games before resting in the 1-0 defeat to Cameroon. They should be ready for the upcoming match, and we won't be surprised if one of them scores at Stadium 974 on Monday evening. Now, Brazil should forget about their latest defeat and start a pursuit of the World Cup trophy.

Korea Republic comes into this clash following a 2-1 WC22 win against Portugal in their previous game. The South Korean unit was on the brink of elimination. Still, a miraculous ending to their game against Portugal extended their stay in Qatar, creating one of the most memorable moments in World Cup history. Hee-Chan Hwan entered the pitch in the 66th minute and scored in the injury time to deliver euphoria back home. This was a reward for Korean brave football displayed a this World Cup. They've scored four goals, allowing the same number. They now face one of the toughest rivals in the tournament, and we will see if they are capable of stunning Brazil.

    Full-Time Winner Odds & Prediction

Brazil is a firm favorite in this match, and we don't believe the South American team will allow a surprise. They should beat South Korea by at least two goals.

    Goals Market Prediction

Interestingly, all three of Brazil's matches stayed under a 2.5 margin so far, but they could have been much more efficient. That shouldn't happen this time, and we expect to see at least three goals in this encounter.

  23. Japan vs Croatia

Japan's chances of progressing beyond round 16 became evident in their last group-stage match against Spain. The Japanese grabbed a 2-1 winner in the game after coming from 1-nil down. Despite scoring early in the game in the 11th minute, Spain couldn't score another. A dramatic second half saw Japan score twice to progress to round 16. Croatia is a familiar foe, so expect another great performance from the Japanese in this game. A pair of wins against Germany and Spain boosted Japan's confidence, and they will try to produce another upset against the World Cup 2018 runners-up.

Croatia is on the radar of everyone watching the 2022 World Cup. Will they go all the way to the finals as they did in 2018? The Checkered Ones reached this far in the 2022 World Cup on five points from the group stage. They may have failed to score in two of the three group-stage matches, but one thing stands out. Croatia is prepared defensively to take on high-pressing teams like Japan. However, the lack of reliable goal scorers is something we have witnessed and expect the Croatian coach, Zlatko Dalic, to address at this point. Ivan Perisic brings a lot to the national team with his experience, and he might be a crucial guy for Vatreni in this match.

    Full-Time Winner Odds & Prediction

It is going to be a close game, and Japan shouldn't be underestimated in this encounter. Therefore, this match might go to extra time or eventually to the penalty shootout.

    Goals Market Prediction

  24. England vs Senegal

England confirmed the top spot in Group B of the World Cup on Tuesday night after blitzing past Wales 3-0 with a second-half salvo. Gareth Southgate won't have much time to celebrate England's table-topping exploits in Qatar as attention quickly shifts to Sunday's match-up against the current African champions, Senegal. The Three Lions produced two emphatic displays against Iran and Wales, winning those two contests with an aggregate scoreline of 9-2. Still, concerns remain about their rather timid and pedestrian display against the USA on matchday two. The injection of Marcus Rashford and Phil Foden bred new life and vitality into the side against Wales, and Southgate will be hoping to carry that momentum into the knockouts.

Senegal has reached the knockouts of a World Cup for only the second time in its history. When the Lions of Teranga made the quarter-finals in 2002, Aliou Cisse was the nation's captain; two decades on, the former PSG and Birmingham player is now the manager, furthering his legacy for the West African country. They came through a stern examination from Ecuador on Tuesday to maintain their stay in Qatar. Nottingham Forest and Senegal midfielder Cheikhou Kouyaté has missed training ahead of his country's World Cup last 16 clash against England on Sunday. Nevertheless, Senegal will try to stun their rivals and provide a huge surprise.

    Full-Time Winner Odds & Prediction

Senegal has consolidated its game after the starting defeat, but England is a much tougher opponent than Qatar and Ecuador. We believe the Three Lions will meet expectations and progress to the quarter-finals.

    Goals Market Prediction

It should be an entertaining clash, and England could have some trouble with Senegal's offense. Therefore, we won't be surprised to see goals in both nets.

  25. France vs Poland

France started the tournament off with a big 4-1 win against Australia. Despite going a goal down in that game, France dominated the match and thoroughly deserved the 3 pts. Next up for France was supposedly their toughest game of the group stage, but Denmark didn't offer enough going forward, and France claimed a 2-1 win to secure their place in the last 16 with a game to spare. That last game came against Tunisia, in which France made a few changes to their starting lineup. The Africans needed to win and got it thanks to a solitary second-half strike, but it wasn't enough for Tunisia to progress. Les Bleus want to return to the winning track and secure a place in the quarter-finals.

Poland drew 0-0 with Mexico on matchday 1, but it could have been much better if it wasn't for Lewandowski missing a penalty. Up next for the Eastern Europeans came Saudi Arabia, and that game saw Lewandowski score his first-ever World Cup goal for Poland, who won the game 2-0. However, a 2 -0 defeat against Argentina followed in what was a poor display from Poland. Thankfully, Mexico only won 2-1 against Saudi Arabia, and Poland progressed as the second-placed team via goal difference. However, if they don’t improve things against France, Poland shouldn’t expect much from the upcoming game.

    Full-Time Winner Odds & Prediction

France is a firm favorite in this encounter, and they shouldn’t have many troubles against Orly. Therefore, Les Bleus might beat their rivals by more than one goal.

    Goals Market Prediction

Despite having Robert Lewandowski upfront, Poland has struggled a lot in the final third in this tournament. France should keep them away from their goal, and the defending champions’ net should stay intact.
