BBBC got a reaction from LeMale in DAILY LUCKY 15
I think the real issue is that the online bookmakers don’t operate as a traditional bookmaker should.
The result of a race should be immaterial - their profit should be locked in by the over round and balancing their book. I’m not sure that actually takes place anymore - if 1 cuts a price the others all follow. If you look first thing in the morning this can be driven by changes in the exchange even though the total on the market at that point can even be 3 figures and definitely less than 10k which is nowt in the grand scheme.
Every single customer is profiled and if you are profitable they will limit you or close your account. On top of that you have obvious data sharing going on possibly between companies not even in the same group.
But they will also be profiling bet types as well. So whether it is the comments on this site or simply data crunching determining they can’t make money offering the bonuses - the result is the same. If they think the “customer” has an edge they will shut it down and simply add offerings that they can control like the fruit machines, virtual racing, shots on target etc …

All a good bit of fun Harry, and not too expensive at 15 quid for the week for the blank, spent worse in my time as have most of us. @kroni did well bit back from 5 days from 5 no blanks, @LeMale cracking effort, tho needs a hefty slap for a day 3 blank. 🤣overall this years Ascot was hard work for most of the punters to be honest, bookies did very well i imagine. Very impressed that 18 took part i thought we would get about half a dozen ish.

Sweet nowt again for me which kind of sums up my overall results for Royal Ascot this year. Unlike last year which was fantastic.
Great bit of fun all round but would have loved to see someone bag the 4 winners … maybe this can become a recurring thing for all the big meetings if everyone is up for it?

Great to see the positive reactions, As for a rerun at say goodwood, i quite liked that zoom meeting thingy with @The Brigadier (Bit surprised that brigadiers head wasn't shaped like a hat tho) and @Darran gave me an idea for a good would laugh, anyone up for a zoom meeting (no make up required) to a light hearted but serious discussion of the races from the lucky 15 angle, not sure how zoom works but will check it out if a few are interested. I could do the 2yo speed figure angle. @harry_rag and @MCLARKE could argue the toss about data stuff. and anyone else with a view would be welcome.

£2.62 back on mine today.
Many thanks to @harry_rag for covering for me and that didn't turn out to be an easy task. been a bit of a weird week ranging from possible death to that being a load of tosh by over enthusiastic nhs personnel so that was a result, shit week on the GG's which was also a sort of result because i made an assessment on monday looking at all the races that i would not back any horses in singles and just mess about with lucky 15's. I normally go in quite big on the 2yo races with my speed figures but there just wasn't enough data to justify decent bet singles even tho i managed to get todays 2yo winner at 12/1. all in all i think we here on this thread had quite a good laugh and i bit of fun, I would like to thank those that wished me well and @BBBC for helping @LeMale out, that's the best thing about this site, helping others where needed so again i thank all who participated. roll on Goodwood 🤣🤬

Just one place again = 0.90p
Great idea @Zilzalian it really was fun. Also thanks to @harry_rag for stepping in doing the tables when Zil was away.
And last but not least, a huge thank you to my PA @BBBC for posting my picks, cheers.
(also thanks to any one else who tried to guide me through how to post it myself, but "old dogs and new tricks" springs to mind)
