I find that one has to learn to read between the lines with racing comments on racecards. I use the Racing Post, the Sporting Life website and ATR with Timeform comments and verdicts. The writer on the Sporting Life website very often gives a very different verdict to that on the Odds Checker website "Sporting Life Preview". Sometimes I'm not sure if he is taking the mickey out of us punters or just playing dutch with his selections. Either way, I think he is a very cheeky monkey

Strange things markets, Double Legend was 5/2, 7/2 last night and drifted between 5/1 and 6/1 early morning so I dismissed it. Obviously backed in again later and beaten over 4 lengths at 5/2

I don't make accumulator bets but these 14 winners have resulted in cumulative odds of 1,400 to 1.
Very many thanks for you kind thoughts. Always appreciated. One betting advisor was telling me that he could make decent money by backing favourites in an 80/20 ratio where he was using Betfair for the 80% Place bet and who knows for the 20% win bet. It occurred to me that both you and @roger2256 would have a better selection process and I wondered if either of you may think this to be a good idea which may produce a decent return for investment purposes. Just a thought.

Not a lot to report today.
In the 4.40 at Lingfield the money has come for Alvaro 6/1 to 7/1 from 9/1 to 11/1 last night. I have backed it for a small stake of 50p as I have King Athelstan in my doubles and trebles today. I have also backed Enmeshing and included it as nap in an effort to get off next to last position in the Naps table this month
@MrJolcontinues his lead with £54.20 profit . I wonder if he can better his tally of £72.62 in April 19 and even set a new record in excess of £79.28 as recorded by Le Male in June 19. Fascinating stuff.
