Football Facts and Streaks regarding Premier League

Everton have won their last 6 home matches in Premier League.
Man City are undefeated in their last 11 home matches in Premier League.
There have been over 2.5 goals scored in Man City’s last 6 games in Premier League.

You can find interesting 53 Football Betting Streaks for 21.09.2019 on this link ... https://eurofootballrumours.com/football-facts-and-streaks-21-09-2019-15711

The double is @ 0.84 which I’m taking on

Barnet have been searching for a striker and finally they have found one as they have signed Alfie Pavey from Dover which seems a good move to me. Just slightly annoying they did it just after I wrote the preview!

Pavey is a lazy player without any work ethic, granted he’ll get a few at Barnet, but I’m pleased he’s gone.

  3. I really fear for my side (Dover) this coming season, yes I know PSF are no gauge on how a season my pan out, but we are seriously lacking a goal threat from open play. Yes our defence looks reasonably solid, low scoring games I envisage and set pieces are going to be vital. I'd bite your hand off if you offered 20th place on goal difference come 27th April 19.

    I've already backed Wrexham @ 7/4 Saturday with 1pt

  4. Seems to be some generous odds on a few games this weekend

Eastleigh at 5/1 away at Daggers. Hessenthaler is charge for his first game, he does like passing football, will be interesting to see and at those odds worth a small 1 pt punt

Chester at 11/4 away at Halifax who've only won once in eight at home, at nearly 3/1 its worth a risky 1pt.

Leyton Orient 12/5 away v Maidstone who I think are very inconsistent at home and up against a good new manager 1pt

Team news and Darren usually put a dampener on my selections

  5. Must say and I dont ever like to oppose my team, but Maidenhead look a good punt. Dover potentially without two wingbacks, without no real backup, four players on one yellow card from a suspension, no real goalscoring threat. Change in formation Tuesday and we got beat 3 zip. 4.2 on the away looks a gift/

  6. After a break for me due to the FA Cup and getting some nice profits from Darran thankyou, I can now throw them away with my own tips.

Chester 3.1 v Boreham Wood - Now, there are usually two sides in this league I stay well clear off and BW are one of them. They continually surprise me, they lose when I think they should win and win, well you get the picture.
For the third league match running, I am backing Chester. Bignot is continuing to bring in loan signings and with his latest Zanzala who is very highly thought as a Derby young prospect and could net a few in the loan spell.
Last night (18/10)Chester played a strong Salford City in a friendly with the Deva outfit running out 2 nil winners, obviously nothing riding on the match, but a look see at a potential formation he is going to be playing.
Boreham Wood do have a good squad, but which team will turn up? One thing that has not necessarily surprised is that they have Holman, I dont think they've nearly played him enough, considering he was what joint top scorer? a couple of seasons ago with Cheltenham
    Home win Chester 1pt
    ==
Ebbsfleet 2.1 v Barrow - Barrow sacked the manager midweek after a disappointing spell, tbh I was surprised Moore even got the job in the first place, after a caretaker role getting a couple of draws they hired him?  After a loss in the Cup v Shaw Lane morale is sure to be pretty on the low side.
The Fleet are a good side and I reckon they could be in the hunt for a playoff berth, time will tell but winning home matches against sides like Barrow is a must for them if that is the aim.
    Home win 2pts

Interesting you think Dover are in a false position. A Dover fan on Twitter is adamant that this seasons team plus Miller would have won the league last season. That's a huge claim and one I just can't agree with.

    Ifs, buts and maybes.

  8. Tranmere v Chester 13/2 at the time of placing the bet, Now 8/1. Obviously this is a high risk gamble and you bet at your own peril, but surely Chester have a chance here against a somewhat misfiring/inconsitent Tranmere haven't they? Sure if you look at the table, recent results, form of Chester etc I guess Tranny would be the team to take on board, but one of three results can happen in any match.  Now, Chester got beat Tuesday 2 zip at home but reading the Devachat forum it doesnt tell the whole story, if you believe it. 1st half Woking have one chance all half and score, Chester have a few half chances. 2nd half Chester hit the post a couple of times and then the Cards get a 'against the run of play' second following a awful back pass. Now rewind to where I wrote the 2nd half Chester bit, (and please humour me here) if those two chances had gone in,  its quite possible Bignots team could of gone on and got a win against an inform Woking side, but then again maybe not. Of course thats all speculation, but the point is here they are damn well improving as an attacking unit, which is something they haven't all season thus far.
Now Tranmere are quite capable of winning this by a handsome margin or losing one nil and a risky 0.5pt says Chester will win. As I say, punt at your peril.

Torquay 13/5 v Dover As I've mentioned in a previous thread I've been following Torquays forum closely, again this is another highly risky punt considering Torquays form all season, but as a supporter of the away side here its been worrying me immensely. Why? Well, I am a  believer of style v style, Torquay by Owers own admission following an emphatic 4 nil win v Maidenhead are/wants to be an attacking side,  contrast that to Dovers man marking, all over the pitch/very direct counter attacking 3-5-2 style and you an intriguing encounter in store. Read interviews of managers which have lost v Dover and they will generally say Dover are and ugly side but get results. To my mind Dover (and it pains me to say it) are in a false position in the league. Torquays forum three or so weeks ago was a place of hopelessness, and now a position of light at the end of the tunnel, if Torquay get a goal start they'll win. 0.5 Home win.

Maidenhead v Aldershot 11/8, surely safety bets are the way to go, arent they? I was surprised on Sunday when I saw the Shots at this price and backed them straight away, This league is driving me nuts, any team can beat another it seems, well I am not so sure in this encounter, I do fancy Aldershot heavily, I am wondering whether Devonshire has the wherewithall and squad to beat a very fancied (to my mind) side, of course he has, but coming to terms with the loss of being without a prolific goalscorer is a major problem. Shots havent travelled well so far this term, but I think against Maidenhead they have a very decent chance v a very near neighbour. 2 pts & NAP

  9. Only just online again after a frustrating 36 hours with technical issues with the internet, decent evening to be fair.

Very interested to see Torquay winning as I've been following them closely the last few matches on their fans forum, despair three weeks ago, chinks of light, to light at the end of the tunnel last night. My team visit next and Plainmoor is not a happy hunting ground.

    5/1 on Sunday, now 13/5

  10. Glad I dodged a bullet this weekend. I wasnt entirely convinced about making a case for any of the matches in the NL, and did think that there were too many potential draws and uncertainty in a lot of them.  I did do my 12fold acca which was a 2mil/1 chance. Ha I only hit two of them.

Solihull Moors v Ebbsfleet @11/10 I saw Solihull  this weekend where they lost 1 nil and was not especially impressed with them. They created little, two free kicks which didnt hit the target and only one actual shot on target. Indeed even when Dover sat back to protect their lead, Solihull gave the ball away repeatedly in the buildup. Their GK's distribution was awful, I counted three times from open play or goal kicks, it went straight out of play. Relegation material? Too early to say, however I think I've seen a side who are going down on that performance.
I was listening to the local radio on the way back from the match and they thought Ebbsfleet could be the dark horses of this league, are they? Well they've only been beaten once so far but have drawn nine, crucially for them though the injuries are clearing up in defence and this has been reflected in the recent three clean sheets, indeed reading a report McMahon by his own admission is a attacking manager but knows, that keeping them out is crucial in winning matches. He did feel his side should of had a couple more.
I hope Magri, who is a Maltese international is allowed to play Tuesday, he'll be a big miss if away, but I beleive the Fleet will have too much for Moors,
    Away 11/10 2pts

Chester 5/4 v Woking  In a way I was pleased Chesters game on Saturday was called off. Not only was I uncertain which way the match would go, but it gives Bignott more time to get his ideas across, and indeed they will have fresher legs, as I've said previously Chester will now gather more points on a more consistant basis and winning home games is key to that.
Woking are in the same mini league as there opponents middle to bottom third of the table, they've had a few good weeks now, a rather lucky win v Sutton, a hard fought win @ Fylde and a good point v Hartlepool Its a long trip for Woking on a Tuesday night against a side who will be beginning to believe in themselves again.
    Home 5/4 1pt

Struggling to see how much of a case could be made for Woking, indeed I wanted to back Fylde but the price is too short. Woking's away form is shocking and the fact their keeper got man of the match on Saturday tells you all you need to know about how fortunate they were to win. Bar the Tarpey 4 goal game Fylde have some good results at home, just drawing too many. Think the fact so many teams are drawing plenty is another reason why the quality is poor in the National League this season.

I see where you are coming from. I felt it is a value bet purely as I think these two sides are evenly matched. I looked at Woking's away form too, shocking as you say but looking closer and see who've they've played and that hopefully explains why I am backing them.

Great preview as always from yourself Darran

  12. Theres a lot for me to like in this weeks NL fixtures and some to my mind some very generous odds to be had.

Chester @ 9/4 v Maidenhead. I was at the Dover game to watch Chester get beaten 4 zip. The scoreline was somewhat flattering to Dover in what was Tom Shaws final game in charge as caretaker. One thing that really grabbed my attention, that even after the fourth goal went in Chester continued to play football right til the end, their heads never dropped and they seem a tight bunch of lads;  if they had won 1 nil as a Dover fan I would have thought a fair result on balance.
Maidenhead continue to defy the preseason pundits with good results against on paper against much better opposition. Losing Tarpey was a big blow, they continue to score but they also  concede a goal a game on average.
Bignott having managed Solihull admirably in the NL and then Grimsby in L2 who were then flirting with the playoffs and he was then unceremoniously sacked?!? Bignott taking charge this week I can see them steadily climbing the table. He said in his unveiling that results need to be a priority, no s#*t. New manager effect to me is tosh, its the managers philosophy that he brings and whether the players buy into it. Shaw is still on the coaching staff and will be invaluable early on  and with  players looking to impress and with an expectant crowd Saturday I can see Chester winning this 1 or 2 nil.
Home win all day long. NAP

AFC Fylde v Woking @ 16/5 Since I placed the bet on Monday Woking have drifted to 4/1. To be honest I was happy enough with 16/5 and thought that was a bargain, little did I know...
I think Fylde have found it difficult so far adapting to life in the NL, Bayliss it seems has a ton of money but has not translated that into points. They've had a couple of decent results v the so called 'bigger' teams, but its against the so called 'lesser lights' they've struggled, maybe its a case of underdog syndrome?
Woking last week had a morale boosting victory v Sutton. I watched the highlights and read forums and even the card fans were thankful of a lacklustre Sutton frontline, only really securing the points in the seventh minute of added time. Manager Limbrick would of looked at the season as a whole and I think would of identified this match as a potential 3 points in fighting a tough season in there own mini league. Woking to edge it.
    Away win

Tranmere v Wrexham @ 5/1 What is going on there I wonder? Tranmere lose and I reckon the Prenton Park outfit will be looking for a new head coach.Mellon  is under immense pressure from the fans to secure promotion, and so far its not going to plan. This is the first of seven in eight matches against former League opposition. Tough times ahead or glory awaits. I think the former as Mellon according to Tranny fans doesnt know his best eleven yet alone his best formation;  442 says the faithful up north, and I agree with them, anything other and they'll get beat.
Wrexham are a decent shout to get promoted this year, a bit more consistently is the key here. I did think pre season they moved on alot of deadwood and recruited fairly well and this will be a damn good test of where they are at, win here and the welsh dragons could well be spitting fire & brimstone.
    Away win.

Have as usual for me have gone for a ridiculous acca £1 paying out £573813.46 in the NL, retirement awaits lol
