  1. He’s a striker, so by rights he should score a few, but he’s not the striker Barnet are looking for.
  2. Pavey is a lazy player without any work ethic, granted he’ll get a few at Barnet, but I’m pleased he’s gone.
  3. H&W v Salford @ 7/4 Really, nearly 2/1 on the reds to win. Not quite a gimme, but that extraordinary, 2pts on the reds to win
  4. Really chuffed my Dover side won yesterday, even if I lost the 1pt single I had on them to lose. The change in formation after we went down 1-3 to last years 5-2-3 worked a treat. Its interesting to note, out of the four matches played,, Dover have been winning at some point in three of them.
  5. Thanks addpea, took a couple of tips which were on my radar that you mentioned plus the Wrexham result that I mentioned in the ante post thread, doubled my money .
  6. I really fear for my side (Dover) this coming season, yes I know PSF are no gauge on how a season my pan out, but we are seriously lacking a goal threat from open play. Yes our defence looks reasonably solid, low scoring games I envisage and set pieces are going to be vital. I'd bite your hand off if you offered 20th place on goal difference come 27th April 19. I've already backed Wrexham @ 7/4 Saturday with 1pt
  7. Seems to be some generous odds on a few games this weekend Eastleigh at 5/1 away at Daggers. Hessenthaler is charge for his first game, he does like passing football, will be interesting to see and at those odds worth a small 1 pt punt Chester at 11/4 away at Halifax who've only won once in eight at home, at nearly 3/1 its worth a risky 1pt. Leyton Orient 12/5 away v Maidstone who I think are very inconsistent at home and up against a good new manager 1pt Team news and Darren usually put a dampener on my selections
  8. I ask again, what odds could you get on Hill being sacked after the Dover game before the Barrow game, purely hypothetical. Surely Leytons manager must be looking down the barrel.
  9. Random question. What odds could you get on Hill being sacked after the Nov 11th. Reason being; Eastleigh have sacked their manager twice now straight after playing my mob in the first meeting of the season between the two sides.
  10. Ebbsfleet win to return a small profit, should of cashed out on Chester after the remarks;but I thought I knew better, well I dont!
  11. Must say and I dont ever like to oppose my team, but Maidenhead look a good punt. Dover potentially without two wingbacks, without no real backup, four players on one yellow card from a suspension, no real goalscoring threat. Change in formation Tuesday and we got beat 3 zip. 4.2 on the away looks a gift/
  12. After a break for me due to the FA Cup and getting some nice profits from Darran thankyou, I can now throw them away with my own tips. Chester 3.1 v Boreham Wood - Now, there are usually two sides in this league I stay well clear off and BW are one of them. They continually surprise me, they lose when I think they should win and win, well you get the picture. For the third league match running, I am backing Chester. Bignot is continuing to bring in loan signings and with his latest Zanzala who is very highly thought as a Derby young prospect and could net a few in the loan spell. Last night (18/10)Chester played a strong Salford City in a friendly with the Deva outfit running out 2 nil winners, obviously nothing riding on the match, but a look see at a potential formation he is going to be playing. Boreham Wood do have a good squad, but which team will turn up? One thing that has not necessarily surprised is that they have Holman, I dont think they've nearly played him enough, considering he was what joint top scorer? a couple of seasons ago with Cheltenham Home win Chester 1pt == Ebbsfleet 2.1 v Barrow - Barrow sacked the manager midweek after a disappointing spell, tbh I was surprised Moore even got the job in the first place, after a caretaker role getting a couple of draws they hired him? After a loss in the Cup v Shaw Lane morale is sure to be pretty on the low side. The Fleet are a good side and I reckon they could be in the hunt for a playoff berth, time will tell but winning home matches against sides like Barrow is a must for them if that is the aim. Home win 2pts ==
  13. Well, that was awful. I did say two of the three were risky and I expected to hit one of them.. Chester were lucky/unlucky in a Nil all Torquay came up a side who saved there arguably best performance of the season for me Aldershot, didnt see that.
