I've noticed in the games I've seen you don't have many chips late on in the games. How do you usually play early on with pocket pairs? i usually just limp every pocket pair under jj even if there is no raise before me this style seems to work in these low games. I usually just fold aj aq and below in early position. Limp in with suited connectors in late postion if also other limpers otherwise just bin them. When it gets to 25/50 level I stop limping and tighten up no set mining etc. when it's 75/150 level my opening raise is 375 you don't need to 3x it still works imo. When you got a stack with fold equity late on get shoving :ok Final table I tend to tighten up until 5/6 handed. This is one of the guys I've been backing around game 600 he started fixing his leaks and did the above basically so it def works! Anything other than JJ I typically limp in and look for a set. I have had a bit of joy with this. AK or AQ I usually raise 3 or 4x the BB and don't try to do anything stupid if I don't hit on the flop. If there are no raises I will play suited connecters and again don't get attached if I don't hit well on the flop. I usually then continue playing tight and will still limp with a pp if no raises on the 25/50 level. I won't do this on 50/100 and above. I would typically raise 3x on AK/AQ and I would quite happily call an all in with both of these hands. AJ I might raise x3 if I am late position.. or I might fold it in early position. I usually play tight from then on until when the blinds get to 250 + 25 ante or I get less than 10bb I start thinking about doing some all in's in late postions. I don't often go all in with any 2 cards and try to keep above 10bb to have some sort of fold equity. Although it isn't easy with the increase in blinds. You are right in that I don't usually have many chips at the end. Possibly because I do play tight but also because I don't like raising with crap and having to go all in. I also don't like getting too involved in all-in multi way pots unless I have AK/AQ AA/KK The guy you have been backing has certainly improved his results, impressive. Another I went out with a lower straight v higher straight. The only game where I had any sort of chips I was card dead when the blinds increased.
