FCP
Event Cobresal - U. De Chile Selection U. De Chile Strength 10/10 Date 05/09/2010 Bookmaker/Price Betfred @ 2.50 Reasoning Universidad de Chile have seven absences to face Cobresal, today at El Salvador. The coach Gerardo Pelusso has the injury absences of Rafael Olarra and Manuel Iturra, the suspended José Contreras and Edson Puch and Miguel Pinto, MatÃas RodrÃguez and Mauricio Victorino, all with virus. It is a dramatic situation for the visitors. They have no big chances today and they will play with the available players they have. It is a vital game for 'U', because if they win they would reach Colo Colo on the leadership. The morale level of the team is also not good, after a bad eleimination of Copa Sudamericana. Everyone knows that Universidad de Chile is playing bad lately. they are playing a direct football because they have no other solutions. Bad moment for Universidad de Chile. jazzfish
Re: Chile, Primera Division Hi, Thanks for the information. I bet on South American football a little bit and am trying to find some good sources for information on team news etc. Is there anywhere you could recommend? Unfortunately I do not speak Spanish so realise this may limit the resources. Kind regards JF
theclown
Re: Chile, Primera Division Event: San Luis - U. De Conception Selection: Under 2.5, 3.0 Strength: 10/10 (flat rate) Date: 16/09/2010; 01:00 (GMT+2) Bookmaker/price : bet365@1.67 Reasoning: Since Chilean Championship restarted, right after WC brake, UdC has played 8 matches, where conceded 4 goals, or about 0.5g/match. This is the best record in Chile since July first. When they do play away from home their record is 0.75 goals against/match, but then, they score only 0.25! This is 1 goal in 4 matches. That sole goal was against Everton, at the very last min of the Extra Time, while Everton was fighing with 8! players (sent-offs:57'; 84'; 89'). San Luis Quillota of course is a team with really bad results and one step away from relegation (they must cover a handicap of 10 points in 7 matches, quite unlikely). They haven't won a single match after the break but they managed 3 draws against low -level teams (UdC doesn't perfom as low level the last two months) Of course, they score very few goals: 3goals in 8 matches, incl. a cup match 10 days ago. They often play with 10 men cause of red cards (4/last 8 matches) and if this happen, there is a change to be hammered (3 times out of 4). Otherwise, its not easy to break their defence (in last 4 11vs11-matches: twice a clean sheet; once 1 goal against and once 3 goals against - that was the cup match)
