NRL Round 26

Recommended Posts

Not a specific match bet but one that is decided this round: TOP TRYSCORER - SHAUN KENNY DOWALL @ $67 SPORTINGBET Ok, here's the skinny: Uate 21 Folau 20 Brett Morris 19 Vatuvei 18 Kenny Dowall 18 Uate plays the Storm in Melbourne. Given the number of Storm players leaving and the Knights' general record south of NSW there is no guarantee that Uate will score. Folau is at home to the Raiders, but the Broncos are absolutely awful right now, and with both Broncos playmakers out it is hard to see Folau scoring a double or more. Brett Morris plays Souths. I would imagine it would be a tight game given the situation of both teams and am happy to generally discount him, as well as Vatuvei. This leaves SKD, whose team will play the Cowboys this week. Last week, the Cowboys let opposition back Reece Robinson get four tries. Robinson is nothing special, and has barely played this season. The Cowboys team are leaking points in a big way right now and the Roosters should play with motivation. Last week SKD scored three tries, whilst in his last visit to QLD, he scored four against the Broncos. I certainly wouldn't discount the possibility of such a performance happening again, and whilst it's not likely, I do feel the 67 is decent value when you consider the opposition the leading scorers will face this weekend.

Like your thinking and agree with your analysis especially with the Storm game being a farewell for several players leaving, they will have a sell out home crowd as they have been selling tickets for the game at just $1.00 ! and the bookies have the line for Storm at -22.5 so should be a big win for the Storm. Morris must be a chance especially as the game is on Sunday and you would think Souths won't make the top eight and could be a bit one sided for the Dragons, but SKD is on fire and playing against Cowboys could turn into a try fiest. So at $67.00 is great value.
