At the bottom, Nazareth Ilit (15th , nine points deduction for financial mismanagement) is closing in on Hakoach. Lod, after a poor opening, are four points from a upper playoffs spot, but I wouldn't read too much into that. Elsewhere a small gap has opened between Raanana (3rd) and Nes Ziona (4th) and the other contenders behind them. The same is happening at the bottom with Beitar Shimshon and Nazareth pulling away. Those gaps are still insignificant (points will be deducted by half before the playoff stages) but it looks settling for a draw will prove more and more costly now. Nazareth's attacking football could prove a handful for any opponent, but this is tougher than the rest. Ramat Hasharon's counter attacking style is especially fit for such games (W9 D1 L1 away) and Nazareth's quirkiness has made her a lousy service against the top teams (D3 L3 against the top six) This is a wild league so low stakes.
