Gat are into a tough draw (one from nine against Raanana, Kfar Saba and Maccabi Herzliya) but they can be a handful for every team. Kfar Saba (home draw with Lod) and Raanana (home loss with Beitar Shimshon) have continued their slow drift. At the bottom, Nazareth Ilit and Arabe seem forlorn, but all teams will be deducted half their points before the start of relegation playoff and can certainly threaten both Gat and Hakoach (drew between them last round)

Ramat Hasharon, the league leaders, were shocked by Netivot (National) while Hapoel Herzliya were thrashed by Beer Sheva in cup ties on Tuesday, but otherwise there were no surprises, and it would be hard to take something from it anyway.

Statistically speaking the Israeli second tier is a bit of an unders league, but I see value in the overs here today. Beitar Shimson are the highest scorers at home in the league, yet are one of the worst for goals conceded in the league. Hapoel Kfar Saba are currently second in the league and have lost only once away from home, which is why I think this could be quite an open game. Beitar Shimson's last six home fixtures have ended over 2.5 goals. Four out Hapoel Kfar Saba's last six aways have gone over 2.5 goals.
