Mahno
It's not official yet but looks like Metalist and Karpaty Lviv can have huge problems over so called "fixed" match last year. If it's confirmed,Both club will face 9 up to 20 points deduction and also some players from both clubs will face 1 year and in some case life ban from playing football. If it happens it will be a huge blow for both teams. The decision will be made on Monday-Tuesday so we will know result by Wednesday.Karpaty officials said they will seak help from Europian Football court while Metalist's officials don't say anything at all. salebg
Re: Bad news for Ukraine top clubs Are there any news, Mahno? Any feedback would be apreciated as I am considering betting on Sakhtar - Karpaty, and I'd like to know if the morale is low in the visiting squad. Mahno
Re: Bad news for Ukraine top clubs Sorry for the delay guys but i was waiting for confirmation and: Officialy: Metalist and Karpaty will be deducted 9 points each this season Both clubs have to pay $25.000 Metalist's director Evgeniy Krasnikov will be banned from football for life. Karpaty's president Petr Demynskiy banned fro 1 year,Karpaty's director Dedyshyn for 5 years Director of UPL Efremov banned for 6 month Every Karpaty's player who played in that match will be fined $10.000 So...it means both clubs are bottom of the league now.How will it affect both clubs is unknown. Both clubs have right to appeal in Europian Football Court. Mahno
Re: Bad news for Ukraine top clubs Myron Markevych (Metalit's and Ukraine National Team coach) have resigned as a coach of Ukraine National Team :( It means we have no coach and i don't know how we will play friendlies now.Myron Markevych was in charge for 4 games with rceord 3-1-0.He resigned because of scandal over Metalist - Karpaty so called "fixed" match. He said if he can't be trusted as Metalist coach why should be trusted as National Team coach. I see things getting worse for Ukraine Football...thanks Surkis and Co.Basicly now it's a war between Dynamo Kiev (Surkis) and other top 5 Ukrainian Clubs like Shakhtar,Metalist,Dnipro,Karpaty. I will try to tell more about what's actualy going on in Ukraine football later if i have time.
Mahno
Re: Bad news for Ukraine top clubs Another scandal in Dnipro as well... Club Dnipro was charged $65.000 for fans behavior in last match against Metalist. Also few players have been suspended for the next match due to fight and abusive behavior against referee's desicions. Football in Ukraine is going mad. Just to show you what's going on on the pitch, have a look what Zorya's keepr has done to referee in match against Karpaty. He was suspended for more then 10 matches after.
