Odra Wodzilsaw is not any more same team as last season, but that is nothing new, everyone knows it. 18 players left the team, just 3 last season guys will feature, last season bench players, no obviously regulars cause of the fact that team is much weaker. Coming back to Ekstraklasa? Clearly not an issue for Odra, they should worry to end in mid table position. They have debts and poor team which recently lost 0-6 at home to other 1st div side Podbeskidzie. Then last training game was 0-1 deafeat to Dolcan, relegation candidate imo in 1st div. Odra needs time, lots of time to make a team from this bunch of new guys. This is worst time possible to face one of the stronger sides in league. Piast is relegated as well but there is huge difference between them and Odra. Cause of the fact they managed to sell well Glik and Wilczek, they have solid budget, 3rd in league, and they are one of main candidates to come back to Ekstraklasa. They lost 3 important players, but I like the new transfers in in defense. Upfront would love to see one more player but for now Chalbinski is fit and that should be enough. No missing players today, Pietron yet out but that is not so big deal. The possible XI today is strong, with Ekstraklasa experience from last season, at least there is a goalie between the posts, not like last season either drunk one or fat one. I trully believe Odra is no opponent from them today. About the pitch, Odra hosts but Piast knows it every well, last two season many games Piast played there as on home ground so no big deal. Re: Poland first League August 13th-15th 2010 Well Asia just opened and actually must say bastards are getting better and better. Just one bet I like and I did, Gornik Polkowice - Kluczbork (+0.25) 2 2.05 SBO I believe Polkowice are not that good, they have a very strong home record but they are newcomers, they made it in lower divisions. This season should be a different and tough story for them. So far they did not impress at all, won against Leczna at home but a winner came when they were 1 man up. On road last round were terrible and lost 0-2 to Podbeskidzie, while should have lost by couple more. They have a mixed team with very old guys and some nice prospects but it might take a bit more time to adjust to the league. I like Kluczbork as a team, they are always underestimated and treated as poor ones but they impressed me couple of times already last season. Opened the season with 2 draws, as much as in Radzionkow it was an even game, then against Kolajarz should have won. They create chances but what is more important, in both games they looked much better prepared physicaly. Opponent were dying on the pitch when they still remained fresh. It will help for sure. They miss Sobota, huge blow as he left for Slask, but that was the only player that left, they got back Niziolek from injury and this team alredy is gelled. They do not need time as know each other. Wilusz injured but not a big deal, I like more experienced Copik as cb. It worked for them already before. Not hiding the fact I would prefer +0.5 like here, but at this odds +0.25 is fine. I have this one as 40-30-30 About the other games, shortly as do not like any atm. GKS Katowice again priced mega poorly at home. Who r they? So far showed nothing and base only on team name and big aspirations. Everyone think they will promote but so far did not proved it. Watched them live last round and were piss poor, afraid to face better opponent. While as fav collapsed against quite poor Dolcan. Imo -0.75 1.95 a huge pass. Thing is though that Warta is a poor side, especially defensively. Do not have that big balls to take them. LKS - Piast big game, absolute top as imo two main candidates for promotion. I though LKS will need more time to play better but won two games already and have a nice lineup. So does Piast and I guess better to see how they play here. Odra - Leczna is a tricky one, there is still huge mess in Odra and untill everything is solved and players feel they are safe and money is coming, I will not touch them. It is not easy to play with debts and uncertain future and the mess in management is just huge atm. Leczna supposed to fight for big things but they did not do enough in summer break to boost up confidence and aspirations. Imo a flip coin game. No idea at all how to bite it. GL with Ur calls, Hob

Górnik quietly is also thinking about the promotion, however in my opinion today's hosts will finish this season in means of the table. Guests have great potential. Club from the major city, with many fans which are a great advantage of GKS, and with big budget. Personally guests are much stronger. GORNIK LECZNA Before the season a few very important footballers leaved the team. Among others they walked away: Surdykowski, Bronowicki, Niedziela, Radwański, and the best competitor of the team-attacker Prejuce Nakoulma. His speed was the greatest advantage of hosts of the today's match. Tactics were entire placed up to him. In place of these competitors were bought new footballers, but with abilities they aren't equaling the ones which walked away. In the last league queque Gornik Łęczna lost on the away with Odra Wodzisław 1-2. Odra is a team which is in the big crisis. Odra has big money troubles and she is in the hopeless form. In both first queues Odra played really disastrously, then came a match with Gornik. Odra showed nothing special, she was playing poorly, but Gornik played even worse. Really the style of the game of hosts of the today's match was awful. Odra led the game game and she has optical majority. Inhabitant of Wodzisław Śląski all the time controlled the course of the match. Although Odra played imprecisely and chaotically, Górnik could not advise himself with Odra. Fatally is acquitting herself a defence of Gornik. In the offensive obviously an idea for the game and the element of surprise are missing. Footballers are playing slowly, a competitor which would pull the team for the contest in heavy moments is missing. Competitors are misaligned tactically, they are playing poorly without the ball, and Gornik has big problems with staying by the ball and with creating goalmouth situations. Fatally are functioning wings. As for counter-attacks in the previous season Gornik could count on the speed of outstanding Nakoulma, but in this season the game in carrying out of the objection today's hosts is looking poorly. In both earlier queques Gornik played a little bit better than with Odra, but still it was a poor game. Paluchowski is being placed on the wing as in my opinion is a mistake of coach of Gornik. In matches at home Gornik isn't certainly a simple rival, however in such a form it will be hard for them to oppose guests which are in the really phenomenal form. GKS KATOWICE GKS Katowice is one of front-runners for the promotion. Before the season the team became very seriously stronger and what is important-stopped important players in the team. To the team came:Kaliciak, Kowalczyk, Piechniak, Pitry and Chwalibogowski. Kaliciak, Kowalczyk, Piechniak and Pitry at once gained the place in basic composition and they are leading footballers of GKS. Chwalibogowski most often sits down on the substitute's bench, but he often goes up to the court. Great advantage of today's guests is a coach. Dariusz Fornalak is a great specialist and one can see, that he great sorted out this team. However, as regards results GKS is acquitting himself poorly. After three queues today's guests are having only 2 points in their account. The team didn't still win a match. In the club is starting becoming hot and if today GKS doesn't win, will begin speculations about job of coach Fornalak. Both the coach, and competitors are incredible called up to this meeting. However style of the game of GKS can appeal. In the last queque GKS drew at home with Warta Poznan 1-1, however today's guests played in that match phenomenally. Really it was the best match with the participation of GKS, which at any time I could see. With such a game GKS could fight over leading places in Ekstraklasa. GKS had the huge majority and he created many, many shooting situations for himself. Footballers from Katowice all the time led and controlled the game. Today's guests played very wisely, they were able to long stay by the ball at the half of the rival. The team is superbly completed tactically. Today's guests are impressing also with an outstanding physical preparation. Admittedly in two first queues GKS played more poorly than in the match with Warta, but this team needed the time to get used to playing together and one can see, that now something in this team moved. Phenomenally had at his disposal goalkeeper of Warta rescued his team. GKS played very fastly, the pace of action really impressed . Competitors very often played combinative, to one contact. They were able to surprise the rival. Superbly acquitted herself a defence. In the phenomenal form is Pitry, who was the best competitor of the match with Warta. Coach removed him from the court too quickly. Pitry impressed with the speed and dribblings. He was very active, he played very wisely and he was a driving motor of the entire team. Superbly played also Kaliciak, who is impressing with the speed and the game without the ball. GKS through about half an hour played with only 10 players, however even in the weakness GKS played really good. Admittedly he didn't create so much goalmouth situations for himself, but he let Warta for nothing. GKS played phenomenally. And not just anybody was an opponent, because Warta Poznan is really a very reliable team with around a few individuals. Apart from that yesterday Warta crushed ŁKS-one from front-runners for the promotion. An effectiveness is an only lack of today's guests, therefore coach Fornalak devoted last trainings to shooting practices. I hope that it will work and GKS will win this meeting. PERSONNEL SITUATION Both teams will play in the strongest composition. SUMMARY Personally guests are a team about at least class better. Purpose of GKS is an advance to Ekstraklasa, however after three queues team is having only 2 points in his account. Today is time for breaking. Everyone in the club are very much called up and they expect the first victory in the season. Before the season many outstanding players came to the team, and this players now are leading footballers and they are deciding about the game of GKS. In two first queues GKS played average, however this team needed the time to get used to playing together. In the last match with Warta everything was very good. GKS played nice, GKS played phenomenally... In such a form GKS could fight with leading teams of Ekstraklasa. Really the style of the game of today's guests was outstanding. A nd their rival was Warta-very reliable team, which yesterday crushed very strong ŁKS. Advanatage of guests is also a coach, who is a real specialist. GKS has on his side also individuals which hosts of the today's match are lacking. GKS has Pitry, who is in phenomenal form. GKS Katowice has also fast Kaliciak, who is also impressing with the form. Only lack of GKS is an effectiveness, however coach Fornalak ordered shooting trainings on the last trainings and I hope that it will help. Górnik Łęczna before the season lost leading players. Among others phenomenal Nakoulma, up to who was placed entire tactics. Gornik Łęczna is in the hopeless form. In two first queues the team was playing poorly, but a tragedy didn't feel. However in the last queque the team played disastrously. Gornik lost with Odra, which is in the big crisis. He lost with Odra which in two first queues played really fatally. In the match with Gornik, Odra also played poorly, but Gornik played even worse. Odra all the time led and controlled the game. Gornik played very slowly, chaotically and predictable. An idea for the game was missing. In such form the Gornik isn't having a chance in the match with GKS. I think that guests will win this match.

Re: Poland First League August 27th-29th 2010 Odra Wodzislaw - MKS Kluczbork 1 2.04 SBO Before the season I predicted a harsh start for Odra, which was something obvious when U drasticaly change Ur squad. They lost 0-3 to one of the favs Piast, but then they managed to click faster than I expected, won against Warta on road and against Leczna at home. Then last game was 0-1 road defeat to Podbeskidzie, current leader and that was a game where U could hardly see a difference in quality, was even a game, and a goal was scored straight from corner, big keeper mistake. All in all Odra has not bad team with some experienced players inside. Radler, Kuranty are those who keep them tight and not easy to beat. And at home I expect them to do most of the damage. I wrote as well I will not get involved in backing them to win untill some outside pitch situation is solved. And its very close to be done, Czech investor, future owner will come to see this game and to finialise agreement. Soon cash should flow to the club and players will get their paymanets. That should extra motivate them to win a game. Just experienced Wos missing as notable loss but he was out in last games anyway. MKS Kluczbork was a team that was fighting against relegation last season, but still I liked them, few times at some juicy odds made me back them. I thought this season they co do well as well but so far it is not working that well for them. The miss of Sobota, true amazing leader last season, now gone and its visible. Their only road game this season was absolutely pathetic and backing them was big bad idea. They lost 0-2 to Polkowice showing nothing. Now in midweek lost in cup to lower div team but actually used fringe players so no big deal. In last round beat poor Nieciecza so not convinced about their strenght at all. They are yet to impress me and on road not really expecting that. They have poor starts to the seasons, did that last year and it seems this one is no different. Even if they are prepared well physically, then there is noone to finish their chances without Sobota. Polchlopek, the only real so called equlizer is not scoring and against tough Odra's defense he is not gonna have to much space. Imo Odra at home should be given more chances, they are already adapting very fast and very well to this season, the team looked badly but Kuranty's arrival made them look better in midfield and at home, motivated by new owner should absolutely go for 3 pts. Poland First League September 4th-5th 2010 Two picks for me today, both late games. Podbeskidzie (-0.25) - LKS Lodz 1 @1.99 SBO My fair price 1.80 on -0.25 Hosts have hit the form at the start of the season, after first road 1-1 against newcomers there were doubts but then win after win and especially last time in Katowice they showed some brilliant finishing killing other promotion candidate 6-1. What is special about Podbeskidzie is that these days they need half a chance to score a goal. Even worse games they are winning. The confidence and morale is sky high there and today they will miss only still injured Kolodziej. Not that big blow imo, Latka is replacing him well enough. They are rock solid in defense and today they will need to cover Mieciel only as LKS will miss their best player this season, Kosecki (injured). This kid was just great thus far, last time against Leczna game won mainly due to his performance and without his passes Mieciel will not have to much to say today. LKS simply hates to play in Bielsko, travelled there 5 times and 5 times lost. Today I see no reason to change the history. LKS on road is not as efficient as home and 1-4 in Poznan agains average Warta says everything about it. Gornik Leczna - KSZO Ostrowiec 1 @1.98 SBO My fair price -0.5 1.80 This one potentially tricky one, banana skill called but imo not really for me. I expected KSZO to be weaker this season and they really are. They played some not bad road games against big guns Piast and Pogon but this is typical for this team, when they decide to park the buss they are somehow able to stop better teams. Today we are gonna see different scenario, KSZO will play more open football and I expect something like last season. Gornik Leczna is typical home team, they have always presented themselves better home and some pathetic performances on road. Though last time in Lodz against promotion candidate LKS they were not so bad, conceded a goal in 97' and yet in injury time only had like 3 chances to equalize. Their biggest problem these days is finishing. Last time home won 1-0 against GKS Katowiec and yet again could have won higher if being more precised. Quality of this side is a bit questionable, there are some players who are not hitting form yet but as a unit and at home expect a similar play to last ones. KSZO is absolutely beatable opponent. They have lost couple of key players in summer and they are paying for that. No offense with just Kanarski upfront (now brought Nawrocik to help him). Defense is shaky withou Matuszczyk, and set pieces much poorer too. Hosts will miss Magdon cb but that should be all from notable losses. In my book two home wins here. Both of them were unders. Maybe it`s not impressive but this draw was in match against Piast Gliwice-team which played in Ekstraklasa last season. Gornik Leczna is strong team but playing very poor this season- they`ve lost all 3 matches away. Between Swinoujscie and Leczna is over 800 km so guests will surely be tired after long journey. I predict home win but with not much goals. match: GKS Katowice-GKP Gorzow Wielkopolski pick: away win odds: 3,25 strength: 4/10 bookie: Expekt I think it`s quite value pick. Gorzow is one of the best team in FL-they are currently at second place. Away they`ve won and lost but this should be another win. Katowice plays bad this season-at home they`ve drew twice and lost once. Katowice`s last home match ended with 1-6 defeat against Podbeskidzie, next week they`ve lost in Kluczbork 0-3. At the same time Gorzow won twice: 2:1 over Nieciecza (away) and 2:1 over Odra Wodzislaw (home). I think that match is worth to play at this odds. P.S. Sorry for my english. In Katowice after 53 minutes was draw 2:2, I thought that Gorzow could score the winning goal but they have lost two goals in last three minutes.

Odds: 2.25 The only reason to bet on that particular team is that they have not won game so far and this is a great opportunity for them to have a 1st league's win. Especially this is a home game. Hello to everybody, My 1st post here. I put £2.00 on LKS Nieciecza at bwin. They play against Kolejarz Stroze. Piatek is back, Baran should be fitter. Two central midfielders that played in Ekstraklasa last season. Do not underestimate this small team, they have money and are improving from game to game. Yet limits are very small, odds dropping fast so just short info here form my side.

They are very unlucky lately, last round played probably their best game this season, outplayed GKP and lost 0-1. Such things happen but luck will turn soon, and imo Radzionkow is a good place to get a point at least. Ruch is nothing specialteam, imo even weaker than last season when they got promotion. Upfront not really a force at all. In KSZO Kanarski available again, new signing Wolanski played well in debut, Nawrocik always dangerous. Imo way to big price here on visitors.

Well, there's no topic about Polish Youth Ekstraklasa, so I will write here: Tomorrow, at 12, in Polish Youth Ekstraklasa Lechia Gdansk will play with Legia Warszawa. On Saturday, in the Polish Ekstraklasa Lechia won 3-0. But in the Youth Ekstraklasa, there is a different situation: Legia Warszawa-1st place, 5-1-1, goals: 13-6, away games: 3-0-0 Lechia Gdansk-16th place, 1-1-5, goals:6-17, home games: 1-0-1 To be honest, I don't know a lot about youth games, but I will play (little stake) Legia Warszawa @1.90 (betsafe). Warta is on 14th place, Dolcan is 18th. Warta played last three matches away with stong opponents (Sandecja, Piast, Pogon) and lost all three. At home they are completely different team - they can play well and may defeat anyone. Dolcan is last in league table and lost 8 from 9 matches. Only point they`ve earned was in first round against GKS Katowice. Warta after 3 defeats is dangerously close to relegation zone and they need points. I think it will be easy victory for Warta.
