PL was born June 17th 2000 and is now in double digits. :clap Quite a milestone and boy has it changed over the years, into what is quite a diverse place these days. Ollie was the original founder of PL and he did a great job in the beginning. In those days we were on EZBoard, which was quite limited. I bought PL off Ollie in 2004, when he decided that he wanted to concentrate on his army career. I ended up loving PL straight away and getting very involved along with a lot of people. Things were always done the right way, the members were always far shrewder than on other forums and that remains the same today. Here it is in 2001 to 2004. It became about every sport. It then gained a big reputation in horse racing and even more diverse, it now has quite a big loyal poker forum. My personal opinion is that the success of the poker forum is PL's biggest achievement because really we shouldn't be competing alongside specific poker forums, but we are and that is a great achievement, to which many have contributed, mods and players. :ok 2005 onwards is what you see now, the only betting & poker forum anyone needs. ;) Thanks to everyone for contributing, without you PL wouldn't exist. :ok

Congratulations for idea, and efforts that surely had to be heavily put into building forums as is now! :drums It is certainly pleasant place to read and post, and the one I made at least twice as many posts as in all other forums together, so I believe it will stay so. Just keep on with an excellent work! :clap

Happy Birthday PL,, and to think its all down to the now defunct Goalpoker that i joined here and a certain Morlspin (git ruined my life :tongue2), wife says i am addicted to this place and i think she may be right :lol have to say i have met some great people here and learnt so much poker wise,i would never have got to play in WSOP without you lot and i thanks you all
