NRL: Round 14

Recommended Posts

Titans win by 13+ margin @ 2.60 TAB Both sides come into this game missing players for various reasons, and with a win needed to reverse their recent loses. From this the Titan looks better than the Sea Eagles as the Eagles lack organisation in the halves, and with no Lyon or Matai, they lack any threat out wide. The Titans have Campbell at fullback, a couple of flyers on the wing, and a good halves pairing of Prince and Bird, who will be looking to remind selectors that they still have the talent to compete in Origin III. The forwards battle should be pretty even but the Sea Eagles are missing Watmough who is an important player for them. They will miss his drive around the park. Even off the bench, the Titans look to have it over the Sea Eagles. With the Titans having won 2 of the past 3 meetings, then going with the home team to win this well

Re: NRL: Round 14 Raiders -5.5 @ 2.03 centrebet Cowboys are decimated without the sole of their team as there is no Thurston, O'Donnell, Scott and Tonga, and while they have some decent players still there, those replacing these 4 are not up to it. They are lacking in confidence and are making too many mistakes, as they average 32 missed tackles per game, which leads to an average of 26 points per game they concede. The Raiders too have shown that they can go off the boil, and the way they allowed the Titans to get back in the game last week does not mean that this will be a game that they will win easily. The Raiders still have some quality in their side after players are out due to Origin, but they need to make a concerted effort to finish teams off. Still believe they will have enough to beat the Cowboys, as expect Campese to give that direction and guidance that the Cowboys miss with no Thurston there. Also with the ability of the Raiders to offload, they should be able to create quite a bit of second phase play

Re: NRL: Round 14 Warriors -6.5 @ 4.10 centrebet Warriors were unlucky to miss out on beating the Dragons last week and if they back up with another good performnce here, like them to beat a Knights side that has lacked conviction and is missing an important player in Gidley to their attack. The Warriors have a good pack of forwards and do like to create second phase play with their offloads, and they do get good yardage from their props Packer and Royal. The Warriors have won 6 of the past 8 clashes between the two sides. Even though they have tended to struggle on the road the Warriors have beaten the Broncos and the Bulldogs this year, so like them to beat an ordinary Knights side here Rabbitohs -6.5 @ 3.60 centrebet Both teams are coming into this game missing several important players with the Broncos missing the organisation of Lockyer, the yardage that Thaiday gains and power of Folau out wide. The Rabbitohs are missing the hard running Taylor and Burgess while the speed of Luke will also be missed. However the Rabbitohs backline is in tact and has plenty of speed there. They have the experience over their Broncos counterparts and should create plenty of opening there, especially with Sutton and Sandow working the passes around the rucks. In the forwards they are pretty even with Asotasi starting to get back to some form, then looking at him to lead the Rabbitohs to gain the yards for their halves to lead them to win here, hopefully like the 44-12 they won last year at Suncorp.

Re: NRL: Round 14 Roosters -6.5 @ 2.15 centrebet The Storm are decimated for this clash with many of their players out due to Origin commitments. They will field a very young side here, and though they still match up well in the forwards, they do lack some talent in the backs. Will be looking to see the halves of Anasta and Carney really cause plenty of problems for the Storm, and expect a much more committed effort from the Roosters compared to their poor showing against the Sharks. The Roosters are 9th and have lost games to teams below them but seem to lift against sides above them. There are no excuses for the Roosters if they cannot win this one, as they may as well pack their bags for the season.
