Re: Brazil Serie A May 29th-30th 2010 Flamengo have some problems in his alineation. Adriano, Mezenga, Fierro and Kleberson are out; Toro and Michael are out for medical problems, Petkovic is recovering for an injury and probably will play but I bet that not at his best level, Vagner Love althought isn't doubtfull don't train thursday. Coach of the team will use another offensive alineation for the fight against Gremio who is doing well after focusing only in Brasilerao. any news on Botafogo RJ' date= there quite strong at home but last game they lost and lost me money aswell because there 3 main players that score the goals were suspended?
Botafogo might have a change on their midfield against Vasco tomorrow. During this morning practice, Sandro Silva was replaced by Tulio Souza. Tulio has been an important defensive strengh for Botafogo, but has suffered with injuries throughout his career. On their offense, Caio and Herrera are back as starting strikers. They were out last game due to suspension (red card). For all other positions the team should remain the same. Probable lineup:Jefferson, Antônio Carlos, Fábio Ferreira, Fahel; Alessandro, Leandro Guerreiro, Túlio Souza, Lucio Flavio, Somália; Herrera, Caio. Coach: Joel Santana. Re: Brazil Serie A May 29th-30th 2010 nice chart VENANCIO but this is a power chart...in goals or team power..ect? good botafago to main strikers are back, really pissed me off when they missed a penalty. corinthans - santos game looks good aswell..maybe alot of goals..or both teams to score..corinthans don't really concede many goals but its santos..awesome goal scoreing! any team news..neymar, robinino, andre, Z edwardo ect

Re: Brazil Serie A May 29th-30th 2010 Palmeiras The stadium: The Arena Barueri is not far away from the city of São Paulo, and Palmeiras will definitely have the majority of supporters. The curious thing about the stadium is that The opponent team, Grêmio Prudente, moved away from Barueri a few months ago, so they should be much more used to the field than the "home" team. The team: Their defense midfielders Pieere and Marcos Assunção are back from suspension. Their top player, Cleiton Xavier, was doubtful due to a knee injury, but the news are that he is going to play. Probable squad: Marcos; Vitor, Danilo, Maurício Ramos, Gabriel Silva; Pierre, Márcio Araújo (Marcos Assunção), Cleiton Xavier, Lincoln; Vinícius, Ewerthon.

Why they dont play at own arena? Is Junior in Vitoria still suspended? I remember when he played in swedish leauge and now he is here :drums
The stadium will be rebuilt, and chances are that it will be closed for the next two years. Júnior (Vitória) is available for the match, but the coach hasn't made a decision between him and Schwenk, who scored three goals on Wednesday against Atletico-MG.

Re: Brazil Serie A May 29th-30th 2010 Well, Gremio Prudente +1 AH looking good, as for Avai, with their atacking powers and Victoria morale back after beating favored Atletico MG by 4-3, over is best bet, and Flamengo, uhh very hard to predict - ods dropping on away win so fast because hosts missings, but I will try small bet on -0.25 Home with sbobet at @1.80. :ok

Re: Brazil Serie A May 29th-30th 2010 I like the pick for Avaí over and I also believe they should win this one, since they are very tough ay home and Vitória hasn't won a game away from home in a while. The odds for Palmeiras are dropping as well, but I don't see it as a clear win. You're also right about Flamengo, which is totally unpredictable.

Re: Brazil Serie A May 29th-30th 2010 Corinthians v Santos - Santos LAY @ 2.72 Betfair I think Santos are worth taking on as favourites for this, they haven't been very strong on the road inr ecent games, they did get a victory last time winning at Atletico-GO which was a good result but overall, their results have been poor away. Corinthians have started off on good form and can continue to remain undefeated. Atletico-GO v Goias - Atletico GO @ 7/5 Skybet Both sides will be disappointed by the start they've made but this looks a good chance for hosts to pick up first home win of the season, they are traditionally a strong home team lookign at previous record down the years. No disgrace in going down to Santos and I think they'll bounce back tonight.

Re: Brazil Serie A May 29th-30th 2010 Guarani vs São Paulo Pick: São Paulo @1.80 São Paulo will have some problems as they lost 5 players for the game against Guarani. Side defenders, Cicinho and Richarlyson, Miranda (defender), Rodrigo Souto (defensive midfielder) and Marlos (attacking midfielder). But it shouldn't be a problem for coach Ricardo Gomes, 'cause São Paulo have a big squad and a lot of players in condition to replace them. Guarani won't be able to count with 3 players, Renan, Mazola and Roger, all of them are players that belong to São Paulo and were loaned to Guarani. Renan is captain of the team and the best defensive midfielder of Guarani. Roger is the topscorer of the team in Serie A, togheter, he and Mazola, were responsable for 5 of the 6 goals scored for Guarani in Série A. That fact show us the diference of class between this two sides, players that weren't even being used at São Paulo are first team players at Guarani.

Corinthians' head coach, Mano Menezes, will miss Ronaldo, who has not yet recovered due to club's doctors, and Alessandro, who is also injured. Santos' head coach Dorival Junior, will miss Robinho who is with Brazilian squad, and Leo who suffered injury in the last round. Both teams are in a good shape and have no losses yet in the 'ship. I think that our best bet here would be goals. Santos plays offensive football with not-so-good defense, while Corinthians doesn't play that offensive game, but will start with 3 strikers today, and are expected to attack Santos from the mere beginning. Corinthians' defense doesn't look good, and by now, opponents had no trouble in creating goal chances. I think that goals will come in this one, and I will go with 'over'. Sao Paulo, on the other hand, has reached it's peak, and grabs towards top of the tables. Guarani's head coach, Vagner Mancini, will miss 3 very important players in this match. Renan, team captain, Mazolla, and Roger, who combined stroke 5 of Guarani's 6 goals, won't be able to play today. Also, Aislan will miss this match. Sao Paulo's head coach won't be able to count on 5 of his players : Rodrigo Souto,Marlos and Miranda are injured, while Cicinho and Richarlyson are suspended. As I've already said, Sao Paulo is in excellent shape and plays superbly. Guarani is in decent shape, too, but will miss major players for this match. Yeah, Sao Paulo will miss some players, too, but they are far more quality squad, and Gomes has decent replacements for his missing players. Furthermore, Sao Paulo will have major advantage here - their fans are coming to carry them, plus there's this fact : they haven't lost to Guarani for 13 years already. These teams played 21 matches since, and 15 of them went to Sao Paulo, while 6 were draws. Also, of the last 7 matches on this stadium Sao Paulo won 7 (!) and I expect them to win this one, too. Re: Brazil Serie A May 29th-30th 2010 Atletico GO - Goias Two of the worst teams by now will meet in Goiana derby, and both are going to try to reach their first championship victory. So far, both Goias and Atletico GO have acquired only 1 point both. After missing 6 players in the last round, 5 of them are returning in Atletico GO squad, led by coach Geninho. Only Marcio is still injured. Beside him, match is going to miss Keninha, who was ejected in the last round. Goias' coach, Emerson Leao, on the other hand, will have full squad available, since both Fábio and Wellington Saci are back after suspensions. Atletico GO wasn't able to extend their good rhytm from the cup, and Goiana championship. Similar to them, Goias had bad season in Goiana championship, and also made bad start in championship. Atletico GO was aiming for the cup, mostly, and hence this bad beginning of the season. I think that Atletico GO has a good shot in this 'derby'. Goias plays bad, and improvements are nowhere to be seen, while Atletico GO has quality needed to win this one. These teams had already played 4 matches in the Goiana championship, Atletico GO won twice here (2-1, 4-2), Goias won home once (2-1), and one game was draw (0-0). Botafogo's head coach will be able to count on his 2 important players for this match: Caio, and Herrera, who were both suspended. Also, Tulio Souza is expected to replace Sandro Silva, who suffered some bad critics recently. Abreu is with Uruguay national squad, and won't play here. Vasco's head coach Celso Roth, will miss no important players today. Of course, Carlos Alberto is still unavailable. So, Roth is expect to bring out the same team as in last round, with one addition : Jefferson. Rio will host another derby of this round.Botafogo, after suffering first loss, wants to return to winning row immediately, while Vasco, wants to keep their row, after scoring first victory. I think Botafogo is closer to that achievement. They have shown much better performance so far, and with the return of their 2 strikers, they are going to be even more dangerous than they were in the last round vs. Cruzeiro. On the other hand, Vasco isn't playing in best shape, and I think they'd still be victory-less if it weren't for judges in the last round. So, Botafogo has better team, and is in better form than Vasco, and should reach victory here. These teams played 2 matches so far this year, and Vasco won once (6-0), and Botafogo once (2-0).
