Those two throw punches after Vasco game, and coach payed the price. Robert is also released from his contract. New coach for short time will be Jorge Parraga, ex Palmeiras B coach, who had some decent results with Verdao youth. It is talk that Verdao will try to land Scolari for this position but still just a talk with no hard evidence. Santos - After 3-1 win against Gremio in 1/2 finals of Brazilian Cup, coach Dorival Junior anounced that he will rest his most important players in the game against Atletico GO. Robinho is out due national team preparations for WC, and Neymar, Paolo Henrique "Ganso" and Leo will be rested for sure. The best player Diego Souza is still in conflict with the club and fans and ptobably sonn will not play for the club. Playmaker Lincoln is out due to injure. Beside this four players, Santos cannot count with Robinho, who is concentrate with the national team, at Curitiba, since Friday to prepare the next World Cup. Beside this, the left back Léo is being saved to recover his good physical condition. Like this, i can't see Santos winning this game. Atletico MG's head coach, Vanderlei Luxemburgo will miss no major players for this match, but he still decided to bring some changes up. Marcelo will replace Arnaho on goalie, Junior will be replaced by Leandro, and Joao Pedro will replace Corre. Atletico PR, on the other hand, is still without a victory. On the opening they suffered a defeat from Corinthians (2-1), and splitted it with Guarani in the last round (2-2). Their head coach, Leandro Niehues, will also have no major left-outs for this one. Also, Niehues has many returning players: Paulo Baier, Netinho,Manoel,Neto,Branquinho and Bruno Mineiro. Both team's defences were pretty bad in first two rounds, while attackers did a good job. Atletico PR is victory-less yet, has many returns in squad, and surely posses a bigger threat for opponent squad. On the other side, Atletico MG wants to redeem themselves for the last round's loss, and this should be a match with lots of goals. Their coach, Mano Menezes, wont be able to count on Ronaldo, Alessandro and Danilo today. Their today's rival, Fluminenese, started championship with loss to Ceara (2-1), and defeated Atletico GO in the last round (1-0). Their head coach, Muricy Ramalho, wont miss any players, and good news for him are return of the Fred, and also, their reinforcement Carlinhos will play for the first time today. Corinthians, being one of the 'ship contenders, wants to continue series of good results with a victory here. They have played superb in the last 2 months, and I expect them to reach their 3rd victory today. Fluminense hadn't shown any good plays in first two rounds, and they'll have trouble reaching positive score in this match. In the first round, they split points with Sao Paolo (1-1), and repeated same exact result vs. Vitoria in the last round. Only missing player in their squad for this one will be Kleberson, who is currently with the Brasilian squad. Gremio Prudente has started season with the loss to Avai (6-1), but redeemed themselves in the last round by humiliating Atletico MG (4-0). Their head coach, Toninho Cecylio wont miss anyone for this match, and will bring out same team that played so well in the last round. Also, Paulao and Carlos Eduardo will return in their team, after doing their suspended time. Flamengo needs to score a first victory in 'ship after they left the Libertadores. They are full on national 'ship now, and will most likely play offensively from the 1st minute today. As shown, Prudente has played 2 totally different games by now. I think this is another game that's going to be full of goals. Flamengo will strike, with their excellent offensive players, and Prudente has also shown in the last round how dangerous they can get offensively.
