fintron Posted May 16, 2010 Share Posted May 16, 2010 6.30 Leicester Feathered Crown would have been my idea of a nap from the Leicester card in the 8.30 as the trainer is in red-hot form and the horse looks to be well handicapped, but the prices tonight look rather short and MUJRAAYAT is potentially one of the bets of the card in this race instead. Michael Jarvis is 2-2 with his 2 yo maidens and this costly purchase is related to a winning sprint debutant in France. She ran three decent races, starting off behind Strawberrydaiquiri at Windsor, before rather disappointing when sent off favourite at Haydock in July. Presumably something went wrong there as she did not reappear until October when she recorded another modest effort. She has since left Brian Meehan and joined Stan Moore. If Silent Oasis is back to last year's early season form 72 may not be too taxing. At the other end of the spectrum Snowed Under is nine. However he has a fine record at the course and goes well for Darryll Holland. Snowed Under won first time out last year. Trainer James Bethell is going well. No rival in this field reached a 6 figure price tag. Bred to be better than that and should be an improver. Trainer J Noseda sends just one runner here tonight. Rare to see him here but he's won 3 of his last 8 since 2008. This is a race for 3yo's maiden with little experience. I think his breeding will finally payoff and outclass his rivals.
