Thales
I think there are 3 matches with good value. All sunday. I'd avoid betting in games wich teams are involved in other competions, like Copa do Brasil and Libertadores. Corinthians vs Atlético PR - Corinthians formed a team to win Libertadores, with their elimination to Flamengo, there's nothing left but to try the national title. Atlético PR lost state championship to Coritiba, a team that's currently in 2nd division, besides that they were eliminated of Copa do Brasil to Palmeiras, hard to imagine a traditional team that are in worst shape than Palmeiras. IMO Corinthians can fight for the title, while I expect Atlético PR to fight against relegation. Bruno Mineiro, main scorer of Atlético PR is out due to injurie. So I expect a easy home win. Atlético MG vs Vasco - Atlético MG is not playing great football, but they are doing quite fine with a solid game. And usually they're very strong at home. Some points about Atlético, Vanderley Luxemburgo is a very experienced coach and won't let elimination in Copa do Brasil affect team spirit. Mineirão, Atlético's stadium, will be closed very soon due to reforms in the structure to World Cup 2014, so Atlético won't play there for a year or so, one of the last chances for the fans to say goodbye to the team, I expect a good number of fans pressioning Vasco. Vasco's key player, Carlos Alberto, is injuried and won't be able to play. Looking at the performances of those teams in Copa do Brasil and state championships, I think Atlético is clear favourite, specially 'cause they have a much more solid defensive system. Hard to see a team that lost to Vitoria away for 2-0 (Copa do Brasil) get a point in Mineirão. Ceará vs Fluminense (DNB) - Fluminense don't have a wonderfull team, but it's pretty honest with Conca and Fred, the problem is that Fred won't be able to play this game. But even without him Fluminense are better than Ceará. I see Fluminense ending the league somewhere between 12th and 8th, Ceará will fight against relegation, no doubt about that. I think Fluminense DNB @1.80 is very reasonable, specially against a side that were eliminated of Copa do Brasil for a team that don't even play 2nd division. flamengo#1
Re: Brazil Serie A 08-09 May Chris, I live in Rio, and have read all news regarding this game...my opinion is: Botafogo--> is the champion of Rio de Janeiro league, has a good attack, with forwards Herrera (Argentina) and Loco Abreu (Uruguai). Playing at home are strong. Santos--> Is not playing with all starters !! that means Robinho, Ganso are out. On the other hand, Neymay is playing, and he is simply awsome...I also like the other players of Santos attacking force... What I dont like about these two teams ? the defense. Therefore, betting on goals for this game should be a good one. +2,5 gols. Good luck !!!!!!!:gimme

flamengo#1
Re: Brazil Serie A 08-09 May Chris, Be careful betting on Flamengo tonight ! The latest news says Vagner Love and Adriano (among other starters), are NOT playing today. They will rest for a very important game on wednesday, for the Libertadores against Universidade de Chile. :ok
