avongirl
Re: Clocks go FORWARD this weekend Are the clocks changing in Europe too (CET) or does the time difference move to more than 1 hr? Did USA change already, so we will revert to 5 hrs difference?
GaF
Re: Clocks go FORWARD this weekend USA changed a couple of weeks ago and will not change again. At present we are 4 hours ahead of EDT (Eastern Daylight Time). When the clocks change this weekend (in the UK AND Europe), then the UK will advance 1 hour ahead of GMT (to BST) and return to being 5 hours in front of US Eastern Time. Most of Europe will advance to 2 hours ahead of GMT (and 6 hours ahead of US Eastern Time) The difference between the UK and most of Europe will remain unchanged at 1 hour. What gets frustrating is the number of Poker rooms who advertise start times as GMT, which should have 1 hour added to them to get to UK time (BST), but the poker rooms actually mean "UK Time" when they talk of "GMT" - GMT and BST are NOT the same thing in the Summer! :wall :wall :wall
