The Brocklesby --- 4th race ?

What happened to The Brocklesby being the traditional start of the flat season :wall:wall:wall Been replaced by The Spring Mile as the Curtain raiser according to both the RP and Sporting Life. Anyone know if this is correct ? Dont see any reason to move it myself ... quite dissapointed if I'm honest - used to be a good way to start the flat seeing 16 2 year olds running down the straight 5f at Donny.

Re: The Brocklesby --- 4th race ? Yeah.........it's rubbish ! Used to be on a Thursday as well........... With no other sport on a Thursday the start of the Flat always got good coverage as the main sports story They're Off !............headlines abounded. If they put the Brocklesby back any further it won't even be the first 2YO race of the season as there's one about 20 minutes later at Kempton......... Return the Brocklesby to it's rightful place !
