Racing owner - costs and other stuff

I am very curous what are the main costs been an owner/breeder of a horse and how you may buy a horse. I suppose in some of the sellers everyone may bid for the horses and buy someone. When you get a horse, you send it to some stable and the expenses start to come. What are the main ones and how much are they - Food - Stables/ stables staff - Entrance fee for races - Transport expenses for races - Jockey payment - Some sort of taxes to Britain horseracing association - How the prize fund are devided between owner (breeder maybe?), trainer and jockey? - What happends when an owners decides to call it a day with carrying some horse? Who is going to feed them? Thanks in advance for the answers
