Re: re A winning nap Yesterday with Spy King winning @ 4/6. The nb Prenup ran a stinker. The other 2 produced a 3/1 winner with Take A Bow but Pay Attention was bumped when coming with a well timed run and could only run on @ one pace after that finishing 4th. 245 Beverley ~ SKIDROW was an impressive winner from the odds on shot Bee Stinger last time out by 4ls with the minimum of fuss. There looks a fair bit of improvement in this horse and the extra half furlong should further play to its strengths. (Win Nap) 340 Salisbury ~ NOUVEAU RICHE won a Windsor maiden in a very fast time and the 2nd (Sea Nymph) & 3rd (Violet Park) have both won easily since. Its 2 other runs were also full of promise and with similar ground to its last win Im expecting a big run here. (Win Nb) 450 Salisbury ~ TILLA came back to form with a much better run when 2nd to the inform Magic Combination last time out. Top jockey Johnny Murtagh climbs aboard today and he can time its run to perfection. (Win) 715 Chepstow ~ GIOCOSO wont get into another 0-80 handicap for a while and should make the most of its chance here of 76 plus a 6lb penalty. It won eased down last time out from in form Concer Eto and with any ground seeming to suit this horse it should take a lot of beating here. (Win) All the best Tankyman

Re: re A grim day Yesterday and with the weather playing havoc with the ground still Ill be playing small stakes for the next week or so. Yesterday the nap was a non runner with Beverley called of and there was no luck with the other 3. Tilla got beat a sh with the 3rd 7ls away, Nouve Riche was also 2nd but well beaten while Giocomo ran a stinker. 325 Folkestone ~ FULL SPATE can drop in and get a good toe up the rail thats favoured on rain softened ground here and pounce late to build on the excellent win it had over the decent Fonthill Road last time out. (Win Nb) 440 Newcastle ~ MELODIAN wins its fair share of races and holds its form well. It goes well here at Newcastle with 2 wins in the past here and has a strong liking for the heavy ground it will encounter today. Basically the horses it runs against today look crap in comparisson and I think this looks one of the bets of the season. 11/10 might not be a huge price but it looks solid to me and Im going in very big on this one. (Win Nap) 700 Catterick ~ ROWAN LODGE was very unlucky to get caught in the last strides by Lisa Mona Lisa last time out going down by a short head over 7f. Probably the main reason it got beat was that it bolted before the start that day. Its a distance winner over 6f so the drop back to that trip shouldnt be a problem and it can get back to winning ways here. (Win) 730 Catterick ~ ROXANNE MILL won a similar race to this over course and distance here before running well in a better race. Its still well weighted under todays conditions and this winner on soft ground in the past should run a big race. (Win) All the best Tankyman
