dannyfield
hi guys ive read and heard people that they use pace ratings to decide what horse to back,i understand the basics of it but was wondering how you guys use them or the best way of using them eg only in sprints or 1m+. do you think they are any good to use? thanks
fintron
Re: pace ratings Trotter will be good to ask and I'm sure he'll give you a good reply when he is back on as I seem to remember him putting some ratings up recently. Trendsman is still compiling his own I think and Stewart was using them on the turf for a bit so thats at least three guys on here that may be able to help..... jayalexander
Re: pace ratings I've been using combined pace figures and official ratings recently and just in sprints. Obviously there are a few more factors to take into account when selecting the horse, than just these figures alone, but I'm slowly applying filters to try and make more selections successful.
