Latest prices from betfair: Europe (Ryder cup): 1.56 England (cricket): 9.4 GB coxless 4s: 9.2 GB 4x100 relay: 7.4 Arsenal FC: 11 Greece (soccer): 11 This may be misplaced optimism as i'm not entirely sure of the method of selecting the winner but 9.4 for the England cricket side seems on the high side to me considering this is the most successful side we've had for years. Maybe i'm missing something:unsure

Re: BBC sports personality of the year (team award) Well we did win 7/7 tests this summer, but that was against Windies and New Zealand, who aren't India or Australia by any stretch of the imagination... Europe should get the award and really 1.56 looks a bit of a banker to me :eek
