3.30 Lingfield Shaded Edge - won off this mark on turf, and won on turf course here multiple times. Has placed off this mark on AW here too and could bounce back having had to settle for unfavourable position in last race. 8/1 Bet 365, 1 pt EW.

Re: Lingfield - Thurs 31st Dec 15:30 Lingfield Hope the price doesn't get smashed to bits by non-runners, don't like taking an early price at this stage. Really difficult card and nothing form wise to go on in a lot of the races. I'm putting down Autumn Blades as a tentative pick but one in which I can rely on to run it's race. Is currently on it's highest winning mark of 77. May be seen by some as a negative but at least we know where we stand with it. Ran creditably in a slightly tougher race than this, only finish 1.5l off and giving away lots of weight that day. Looking further back, finished a very close 2nd over CD here when running off 76. On that day however, was facing lots of types rated in the mid 80's and faces no such rivals here. Now faces lots of inconsistent or unproven types. Has a decent draw, Probert on board is a positive and will go very close. Perhaps foolishly went with a win bet but what will be, will be. 1pt Win @ 9/2 Bet365
