Question regarding handicaps

Ok.... I am probably missing something very obvious here and will look very stupd for asking, but here is the question. If a race is for horses rated 0-140 then a horse rated 145 shouldn't be permitted/eligible to run in that race should it? King Johns Castle is rated just that and entered in a 0-140 contest at Punchestown on Sunday. Re: Question regarding handicaps All I can think of is that the horse was entered in error and when the final decs come out he won't be there ? Do they still have 24 hour decs in Ireland ?
