Ginge, one thing I've meant to ask you for some time. How do you decide on the size of stakes for your bets? Another interesting subject that will probably run and run so have given it a new thread. :ok

Re: Ginge (Staking) My stakes are directly related to the percentage chance I believe each selection to have. Something I believe has a 20% chance of winning will have 20 points staked, at above 4/1 of course. In fact it's better than 9/2 with a margin for error. If a horse has a bigger chance of winning than another it should have more money staked on it. In my opinion something I believe to have a 20% chance of winning should have double the stake of something I think has a 10% chance. I also believe when a punter does not risk as much on a horse he should win more money if it wins. 20 points on a 5/1 shot wins 100 points. 10 points on a 12/1 shot wins 120 points. What is your staking plan Billy?
