HEAVY 3.4 - 8.0 SOFT 3.9 - 8.3 GOOD to SOFT 5.4 - 9.6 GOOD 5.7 - 9.8 GOOD to FIRM 7.0 - 11.6 FIRM 8.3 - 11.4 I realise that the going, and the reporting of it, are big subjects, but the above really surprised me. That a GS measurement of 8.3 could come from any category from SOFT to FIRM seems ridiculous. What am I missing??! Are they not very good at taking measurements yet, do they only take one measurement and go with that rather than an average over the course? And which should we believe? Interested in your thoughts.
