12.20 Southwell The name is frank is in good form and showed a good attitude on first try at aw last time out and if handling this surface is likely to go well again and gets to run off same mark today and if maybe making use of his front running/prominent stamina he would suite this course. Outer Hebrides is looks as though he is coming to hand again and runs off last winning mark again after to sound placed efforts. And is potentially well handicapped on 2007 form but nothing like that these days. 0.25pt e/w the name is frank 0.25pt e/w outer Hebrides 2.50 Southwell The grey one has been fairly consistent lately but definitely high enough in handicap now in my opinion. Business class has the potential to go well back on fibresand but may have been halted by the handicapper today will be interesting to see. Jord makes the most appeal with an encouraging second on polytrack behind useful la gifted, handicapper taking no chance as he is dangerously well handicapped and put him up 3lb for that effort, but is still 5lb below last winning mark on polytrack and 3lb lower than last win on fibre sand. 0.5pt e/w jord 5/1 bet365 3.20 Southwell Plenty of these are potentially well handicapped on previous southwell form but many show little sign of anything lately. Punching isn’t the easiest to win with having to be presented late and does appear to meet more than his fair share of trouble but didn’t run without promise last 2 efforts on polytrack. Is probably much better on fibresand having won twice and 5 placed efforts out of 9 runs, and is now 10lb than last win here over 7f last win over 6f here he is 5lb lower than that and could well relish the return here. 0.5pt e/w punching 3.50 Southwell Too many potential winners here at likely to shorter odds! No bet!

Re: Southwell 17th Nov (AW) 2.50 Southwell Jord returned to form at Wolverhampton last time out and remains well in on old form whilst Business Class is proven to handle this surface and is open to further improvement for Dandy Nicholls. Nevertheless, Elusive Fame is my bet at the prices. Mark Johnston has a superb record at Southwell this season (15-47, 32 % S/R, LSP +16.66) and sends out this gelding that is open to more improvement on the surface and has won 2-3 at the track previously. He is yet to win over as far of a mile but shapes as if worth a try and he has now dropped 4 lb lower than his last handicap win. His poor recent polytrack form explains the double figure price but the return to Newark may spark a revival. 12/1 Bet 365, 0.5 pt EW (3 places, 1/4 odds).
