Kempton 4th Nov (AW) (eve)

Recommended Posts

5.50 Kempton Brilliant handicap with several unexposed sorts and potential improvers but there are 2 that stand out more for me especially at the prices available. Uncle fred won well over CD last time out at first try at this trip and could well be well handicapped at the moment 5lb rise may not be enough from another good draw. Veroon looks worth another chance on a return to aw after being a bit of a flop back on turf prior to running a good 2nd over CD has only had 2 runs on aw and looks like he could well have a few wins in him this season. 0.25pt e/w uncle fred 5/1 bet365 0.25pt e/w veroon 9/1 bet365 7.20 Kempton Marmooq finally showed some life after being extremely disappointing recently over this trip at lingfield and is now 4lb lower than his last CD win and with probert on board desperate for wins he’l ride it to the line. King of legend is still higher in handicap than any of his wins but ran a promising race a week ago over CD under this jockey and looked capable of picking something up soon 0.25pt e/w king of legend 0.25pt e/w marmooq 7.50 Kempton A race to steer clear of in my opinion many of these have showed hit and miss form and they all look plenty short enough in the market. 8.20 Kempton Rather weak affair, but silent act does have a small squeak having finished second the the useful bow to no one time before last and then went on to win over cd last time out in another weak field and does have to carry a 6lb penalty but Callan on board and clearly in good form at the moment capable of driving this one home. 0.5pt win silent act 8.50 Kempton Awful handicap cannot get my head around it, but callans mount went close last time out and maybe worth a another watching chance, no bet! 9.20 Kempton Yet another piss poor event in div 2 here and looks a perfect opportunity for Mister Jingles to follow up on a recent win over at wolverhampton over same trip. Is clearly running into form having finished 3rd time before last, has been put up 4lb for that effort and doesn’t look over harsh all be it in a weak event and amy appears to get on well with this horse. 0.25pt e/w mister jingles

Re: Kempton 4th Nov (AW) (eve) 5.50 Kempton King Olav - his recent form hasn't been anything to get too carried away about but the trip probably stretched him at Doncaster last time out and his will benefit from this return to the all-weather anyway. His AW form figures look decent at 1120, he won a course and distance maiden and won a handicap off a 2 lb higher mark at Lingfield over this distance, before his final two runs in this sphere came upped to 1m 3f here. The first came when a credible second to Philatelist in March off 4 lb higher, and although he disappointed in the Roseberry, that heritage handicap did look considerably tougher than this and he didn't get home in that stronger company. I think he will benefit from the drop in grade and trip today and could pick up his improvement once more. 20/1 Hills, 0.5 pt EW (3 places, 1/4 odds).
