Could a mod please sticky this :ok KEY RACE - ELITE HURDLE Grade 2 - Wincanton Sat 7th The Elite Hurdle is a Grade 2 National Hunt hurdle race in the United Kingdom open to horses which are four-years-old or above. It is run over a distance of 2 miles (3,219 metres) at Wincanton Racecourse, and it takes place annually in November. There are eight hurdles to be jumped in the race. The event first took place in 1992, and it was initially contested at Cheltenham over 2 miles and 110 yards. It was transferred to its present venue, Wincanton, in 1994. It is now a limited handicap, but prior to 1998 it was run as a conditions race.
