VOLER LA VEDETTE - 15.45 Punchestown First bet of the thread, and the new NH season takes me to Ireland for a decent enough looking Mares only hurdle. The Colm Murphy trained mare has won 4 from 6 starts and won twice in October last year. Infact, she has only been unplaced on one occasion, when seen finishing 5th at Fairyhouse in April. The trainer holds her in very high regard, stating that they are going to target her at the 'better class' of races this year. Surely an indication that she has come on since last seen in May, and should be a force to be reckoned with when she does run this season. WIN

Re: Best bet of the day - Oct 15th 5.00 Brighton - Simple Rhythm (super nap) Was gutted lto when i didnt back this one at 14/1. Has won 3 out last 4 turf starts leading the entire way in all of them. Is strangely a pound lower from last win as well as the jockeys claim. Won here at Brighton 2 starts ago and goes on all ground. A rival is guna have to pull out something pretty special to beat this one imo.
