blackcrow Posted October 14, 2009 Share Posted October 14, 2009 Australia - Oman (Asian Cup Qualifier) under 2.5 @ 1.83 (centrebet) Australia looks to gain a win here after their disappointing start to qualifying for the Asian Cup next year. They sit bottom of the group and now have called on their better players to come out and win this vital game. They had a good hitout in drawing to the Dutch on the weekend, and even they were outplayed they ensured their defence was solid. Doubt then that the Omanians will score as they will come and play a conservative game designed to frustrate the Australians. Australia has had its problems in scoring goals as they have tended to be predictable and with little imagination. While Australia may end up winning this game, cannot see them scoring a few goals because they will be content with a goal or two, as many of the players will be looking to stay fresh so they can return to their European clubs.
