8.40 Doncaster A wide open race here and Red Fama could potentially go well at an each-way price. He showed decent enough progression last season and although disappointed when last seen, is inferior on the all-weather compared to turf. The return to turf could see him continue his progression, he handles a bit of cut, and with him returning from a slight lay-off this step back in trip may be an attempt to get him to see out the trip as he usually races over one and a half miles. 33/1 Bet 365, EW.

Re: Doncaster (eve) 16/7/09 Came on this thread thinking i'd found a gem and someone has already discovered it. Massively over priced imo. I'll do a little write up anyway for BBOTD purposes. 8.40 Doncaster - Red Fama Had a good year last year including 3 consecutive wins all on the ground with a bit of cut. Can definitely stay the trip and is down to 8-12 today, which will help. Didnt run great lto but that was on the A.W which obviously didnt suit compared to the softer ground. 25/1 at the moment and i'd probably back this horse to win, i think it's got a reasonable chance to take this.
