7f - a specialist distance ??

In my view , Yes , and i'm going to try and gain a profit from it :hope [eventually ;)] 7f is a step too far for most 5/6f sprinters and just tad too sharp for the milers . Course form is also an important criteria as some courses suit some horses better than others so when mixed with the distance i'm hoping for some obvious selections to appear. Mon - AYR 5.00 - There are 5 x 7f winners in this race with DISTANT PLEASURE winning once on Good going , and has been 2nd twice over C/D [ on Heavy going ] He is carrying 6lb more than his last 7f win . For reference the other 4 are WISDOMS KISS , OBE BRAVE , SION HILL [3 , 2 on AW] and SUNLEY SOVEREIGN . The brackets after a name represent the horse with the most Distance wins. This is purely a paper trail , i'll keep notes of the winners and after time will see if we can dig out anything useful .
