740 Hamilton - Nightjar ew @ 8/1 bluesq Ran a good third behind well treated Main Aim and Aye Aye Digby, who went into my notebook after an unlucky run last time. Nightjar looks in good form and on the basis of that run should go close again today.

Re: Hamilton 10/6/09 8.10 Hamilton Birkside was claimed out of Ollie Pears' yard by Amanda Perratt after winning over course and distance last time out and the decision to put up Fredi Tylicki on his first run for the yard could prove to be a masterstroke as the German effectively takes his rating down to 73 here. He was successful off 78 at York last year and followed up at Ayr off 81 shortly after, but a long season took its toll in the end as the handicapper looked firmly in control. However, his mark has now been eased and with jockeys claim I think he can go well. He's proven over CD and on fast ground. 2.4 pts @ 3.4 TBP Betfair 0.6 pts @ 10/5 win Betfair
