worldcup2
ICC Twenty20 World Cup is knocking at the door. You should know that this shortest format of cricket tournament will kick off from 5th June 2009. This year it will beheld in England. India is the inaugural Twenty20 World Cup champion team. They bet Pakistan if the final round. India is now in buoyant form. So, they will travel to England as a top favorite team. We can say that Indian cricket teamwill start the tournament with much expectation from their fans. Most of their players are now in form. So, I will not be surprised if they hold the title again. As a home team, England will hope to take support from the home condition. Despite having the land of cricket, they could not win any big tournament yet. It is really a matter of shame. I don’t know what the reason is. They are always considered as tough opponent but could not go so far. I think they need to be more consistent in performing well. Twenty20 is a new format of cricket game where anyone can win the title. Ahead of the upcoming T20 tournament most of the teams have already announced their team. MS Dhoni will lead his side. Under his guidance five specialist batsmen, five specialist pacers and two spinners will play. He will be seen keeping wicket and lead his team. Sachin Tendulkar, who is the highest run holder and highest centurion in both Test and ODI, has omitted himself from this format of cricket game. It is going to be a tough and thrill tournament this year. I have still confusion about its much popularity in the second edition. Twenty20 has got much as the means of business rather than entertainment. It is not sure who will win the title this year. But most of the fans will expect that India will bag it for the second time.
