7.40 Bobbie Soxer There have been some really good races run at Windsor this season & once again a winner emerged from a race there with Bobbie Soxer following up its 2nd to Gilt Edge girl (3rd since at Haydock in a cl4 race). At Leicester last time out Bobbie Soxer won by 3.5L over 6f when starting favourite. Has to carry a 6lb penalty for that win therefore runs off 81 adjusted from 75. Should again give a good account over trip & ground.

Re: Ripon Weds 3rd June I liked the look of Bobby Soxer at first glance too Bowles. Was gonna keep faith after he did the business last time, but with the price on that one looking quite short now I'm siding with another. 7.40 Ripon Tagula Breeze - this one won a maiden on gd/frm ground at Redcar a year ago and although never made his mark in handicaps, has been running respectably, as reflected by his official rating which has budged just 1 lb now from that he was first allocated six runs ago. This may have something to do with the fact he was entered in the Gimcrack last term. He ran respectably in an 0-90 at Doncaster on his reappearance this year behind Proclaim, and was unlucky to hit a little bit of trouble in running when sent off at 33/1 that day. Last time out he was running in an 0-95 at Newmarket and perhaps found the company a little too hot when fourth of eight. He was taken down the post early that day and may not have been helped by the delayed start, and if a scenario like that can be avoided here and he appreciates the step down in class he could make a mockery of his 10/1 price tag. 10/1 Bet 365, 1 pt
