8.50 TippIts a long way to Tipperary, its a long way to go, but Odonimee can make it a journey worthwhile here. The trainer has a strong hand here in what looks a moderate handicap hurdle, but the mare is very much the least exposed of the pair and is likely to improve now handicapping. Shefinished mid-division in three maiden hurdles, and took a step closer to opening her account on her handicap debut at Cork at the end of April. That run came over tonights trip of one and half miles, she made steady progress to place late on and suggest her turn isnt far away. Off just 1 lb higher, there is likely to be more to come, and she has shown ability on soft ground previously. 9/2 Paddypower 0.25 pt

Re: Tipperary (eve)- 26/5/09 If anyone's interested take a look at the replay of the 6.55 and keep an eye on the Horse with the red cap drawn nearest the camera , ALEONARD . It is last out of the stalls with the jockey keeping a very tight grip of the rheins .The jock keeps the horse in last place for most of the race under a tight grip then , when turning into the straight [ although the camera concentrates on the leaders] , this one makes up ground to finish 6th . The head-on shows the jockey giving it a fair few slaps in the final 2 furlongs . From John OXX's yard and that was it's 3rd maiden so now eligible for Handicaps . Going to have an alert set for that one ;) Anybody have the same thoughts or am i talking rubbish ????
