Re: Windsor 18/05 8.40 Windsor Ziggy Lee was first past the post at Newmarket last Thursday but had the race taken off him in the stewards room. Trainer Stuart Williams had every right to be annoyed - how many times do we see similar inteference (drifted right across the track, blocking off the eventual second) go unpunished? However, we were paid out by the bookmakers that day, and we may be again tomorrow as the plus side of the reversed placings at HQ was that Ziggy Lee is not viewed as a winner by the assessor, who allows him to run off the same mark of 72 here without a 6 lb penalty. He is drawn low but sat in mid-division last time and his running style means not only may he have a chance from his draw tomorrow, he won with a bit up his sleeve last time and could continue the winning sequence perhaps. If jockey Carson can time his run correctly I think another win could be on the cards.
