Wolverhampton 3.50 Desperate dan finished in front of harry up last time out over course and distance, harry up was 1lb worse off that day and today is 4lb worse off so dan should again have the edge on him the biggest threat comes from towy bay who has finished behind dan before but is much better balanced on todays weights. Desperate dan has a cracking strike rate around this course 12 runs 6 wins 50% strike rate! Desperate dan 1pt win

Won the Ayr Gold Cup in 2007 but hasnt won since. 13lb lower today than that last victory. Never raced at Pontefract before. Last run 2nd of 20 to Palace Moon at Doncaster off OR95 (1lb higher tomorrow). Looks well handicapped here.
