hammes21
Hey I've developed a system that has given me an 11% a game yield over about 250 games. Is this enough games to be sure that the system will work in the long run? If not, how many games would I need under my belt before knowing? AJ
Re: System: +11% yield, 250+ games all depends on your variance figures. you want a stable return and a smooth growth rate. Do a chi square and see what kinda number you get.

hammes21
Re: System: +11% yield, 250+ games Ive tried looking up the chi square formulas online but I don't see where they apply or if I'm even plugging in the numbers right
hammes21
Re: System: +11% yield, 250+ games I guess I should explain this a little bit. The system is based on betting Overs above a fixed odd rate in a specified situation. I ran a chi squared and achieved a probability that it is due to chance of less than 2.2%. But can u help me make sure I did this right? I used only recent results...in Category A i put Data 1 to be 80 and Data 2 to be 20 (expected distribution), in Category B i put Data 1 to be 103 and Data 2 to be 30. Does this look like I set it up correctly?
hammes21
Re: System: +11% yield, 250+ games CORRECTION: Chi Squared was 0.221, so probability that it is chance is less than 5%?
