Cloud88111
This isn't so much a pick as it is asking for a bit of advice. I got this horse in the 1600 at ludlow called Pretsbury Knight who's on good form and can do the work with the jockey and weight on his back. Even had a few races in a better class but he has had over 500 days off. Do you reckon that puts him out of the running or does he still have a good chance? Rainbow
Re: Ludlow 09/04/09 beherayn 300 lud. 1 pt win. has the ability to win this race and win it well. is a bit of a thinker and so it will probably not go as easy as it could do, but if getting an uncosted lead and concentrating a bit more, then no reason why he shouldnt win this race. WoodyTHFC
Re: Ludlow 09/04/09 4.00 Supreme Duke 5/2 bet3 bog 15 pts Hobbs often does well at this time of year and whilst in the big meetings he is coming up short, in these sorts of races he seems to be doing well and he could have another winner here. SD was a nice sort over hurdles who had pieces of form, the victory over Woolcombe Folly for example and he has taken well enough to fences. Just three runs but all of some ability at times. Encouraging first run when fourth but then managed to win over c and d in good enough style afterwards. Found things a fraction too tough when third in novice chase afterwards but that seemed a hottish race, winner has won a couple on the bounce and is progressive and the second had smart form in beating oh crick earlier. So SD lost little really that day and back to handicaps today on a track he goes on he is the pick.
welshman443
Re: Ludlow 09/04/09 4-30-ludlow light yield, his second to katies tutor at cheltenham last year is solid form and with the yard back among the winners well worth a chance, and he is not one to write off just yet dropped in grade here even though he as been dissapointing on his 2 runs this term
StuSimmy
Re: Ludlow 09/04/09 15.00 - Mount Benger Was on him LTO when he won against Rippling Ring by a distance. No reason why he can't go on and do it again today as he lead most the way and the race was 3f longer so the trip should not worry him. William Bonney who I have backed before is probably the main danger but has only one once this season. It is also prone to mistakes. 2 pts to win
JackJarvis
Re: Ludlow 09/04/09 I was really tempted to back Gee Dee Nen at 10/11 but the drift put me off. How that horse has not won on all known form is beyond me. 4/9 out to 10/11, Now tell me something dodgy wasn't going on there!?!?!?
Cloud88111
Re: Ludlow 09/04/09 I had my bet on shenanigan in that one. Main reasons are cause I thought he'd place and I like flint. No way did I see him winning though. Johnson doesn't normally miss a chance like that.
