Bath - 3/4/09

Recommended Posts

3.55 Fanjura 3/1 boy bog 10 pts Im slightly fearful of the MJ runner here but Im going for the hills runner with the yard in really good early season form. Fanjura looked promising last season when winning fto at hq and doing so quiet nicely ahead of some types in behind who have turned out to be pretty useful. Even his run after that was fair in a race where he didn’t get the smoothest of runs. After that he did disappoint towards the end of the season. However he is back as a fresh horse today, clearly he can go well fresh and officialy he is the horse with the advantage at the weights today according to official ratings. He has moved to the hills yard whos horses are going well atm and he might take this race.

Re: Bath - 3/4/09 4.30 Bath Espy - progressive handicapper last term, winning two sprints at Kempton and Newmarket before being denied the hat-trick off current mark at Haydock when last seen. However, is only 4 lbs higher than last win and after only six starts is open to more improvement than most of these. Both wins to date have come over 5f but breeding points to him being able to handle 6f too. Has tackled it before, but only in maidens, and worth another stab now in handicaps. 4/1.
